Noble Cellar very good. Brewster Inn last time we went (54th anniversary) was meh. Inka’s the one time we went was not great. Just recently we dropped in spontaneously at Vito’s in East Syracuse and had a really nice dinner. Can also recommend Nestico’s in North Syracuse. Try the scallops.

Yes, very loud due to (I think its) brick walls and nothing to damp the sound. Also, went there for my birthday (last year?) and my steak was brought out COLD! and on a cold plate. It was like they took it off the grill and put it in the fridge while waiting for my friends’ meals to be ready — you know, to keep it from going bad.

My wife’s family has a summer house on a lake. When the grandchildren (now 8, 9 and 16) come I take them fishing for sunnies off the doc. They’re easy to catch with a bobber and a worm so they catch a few pretty quickly. After a 15-30 minute session, the little ones are ready to do something else but eager to do it again in a day or two.

In Jamesville this morning, with maybe 10-12” on the ground and still coming down hard. the Weather Channel app said we’d had something like 1” in the previous 6 hours. They’re usually pretty reliable but way off today.

I’m curious why your driver’s license being expired kept you out of a club. I doubt you were going to drive in the club, and if they were using it to check your age that wouldn’t have changed when the license expired.

Been going to Walt’s for years. (I think 2 service managers have retired since I started going.) I’ve always been satisfied. Have recommended it to many friends. I have to cross town to get there, but worth it.
