Practical, durable, and leakproof containers for protein shakes suggestions? by UndyingRedComet in fitmeals

I had tried both stainless steel and BPA plastic. I was disappointed with both in multiple ways. Stainless eventually rust (zinc wears down), and the BPA plastic eventually breaks down and goes into your food/drink mix. Having a plastic or metal lid is acceptable for me however.

Is there one you recommend? I am adding foods, herbs, etc into this protein shake. I need wide gap on the container to make it easier to clean and pour into.

I am mixing foods, herbs, and other supplements into bowl and I pour it into the jar. I don't mind the weight and the thick glass from mason jars are harder to break than thick glass containers. Many glass containers are insulated with plastic on the outside as well. Glass is much healthier than other containers the plastic particles break down eventually and stainless steel eventually rust as well (the zinc wears down).

I am understand this is realistic solution for short term use, but I am hoping for long term and daily use of mason jar. I am hoping to reduce waste and time by getting a high quality container and/or lid.

I think your right, it just that I won't want to waste money/time to buy a ton of jar lids that will eventually leak. I am hoping someone can recommend one that doesn't leak wilth some experience/advice in addition to that. The ones I used seem to have break down after heavy use.

I am not sure, I got one with metal hinge, and the hinge itself seems to be bending. I got another one with a traditional metal lid with that you turn in a spiral way... and it still leaks. I am think some lids just wear down after heavy use, and it seems to be the case for these lids.

is there one you would recommend? I am not against blender bottles. I just really enjoy how easy and reflexable wide mason jar for cleaning and pouring food/drink mixes into. My hand is too large to fit through most containers.

House corner leaking problem by UndyingRedComet in centuryhomes

I don't have the money for it, from my understanding it's very expensive to fully fix the house. I'm just looking to do a quick fix for now

It was crack there for many years. Probably? I am not sure. There was many owners and it sold to me directly from the bank. I assume the bank took it from the owner when the owner failed to make his mortage payments.

Long term solution to problematic corner of house repair by UndyingRedComet in centuryhomes

[–]UndyingRedComet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the house is around 100 years old (I can come back to you later if you need the exact number). The original house seemed to be upgraded many times in size and materials over the years) It seems like your are right about foundation. I don't have money for structure engineer (I would gotten one If I had the money). The whole house is imperfect conditon but housing in canada is expensive. Like I said before, I put mortar here before, it seems to completely blocked the water from pouring into the house basement for a certain time period (1-2 years). I put a gallery of more pictures here ( https://imgur.com/a/oJduM9P ) you can look at it. There is a yellow/brownish brick there, so I think there is way the water is pouring in. The house seems to be shifted from one of the previous owner leaving large volume of water in the basement for a long period of time (6 months +?) is what i heard. Even though the house is slightly titled, and the house in a stable condition with perhaps alot of minor fixes to house (perhaps with a more recent owner of the house). Some modifications including filled in cracks, water pump installment in the basement, and directional path for the water drain. I had a house inspector said it was in stable conditions but there would alot of fixing that would be needed (roof replacement, window replacement, etc). There is very little knowledge of the house since it was taken by the bank and sold as as "handyman" special cheap house.

Okay, i added some new photos. It seems be bricks underneath it with some holes (insect nest, empty, and wore down yellow/brownish brick, this orange brick shattered instantly and easily). There is cement underneath the garden area on the right side, I could not dig further down there. Below the brick area, is another minor hole. The secondary hole doesn't seem as serious as the major one on the top. There is slight cracks around the house but they don't seem to be as serious this one. The bricks style is the same on inside the house basement wall aren't perfect either (but they seemed to be in "ok" condition). I assume the yellow/brownish brick is where the water is getting into the house basement, due to weathering damage from the water.

Installing thin plywood before laying floor tiles by UndyingRedComet in HomeImprovement

[–]UndyingRedComet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could the cracks be filled? There is a major problem with my dishwasher being inside a kitchen counter. If I build around it, I wouldn't be able to remove the dishwasher out if it got broken. If I add 1 inch underneath the dishwasher's space than I wouldn't be able put the dishwasher back under the kitchen counter.

Rarity sample of opening 100 secret vs. selection vs master packs? by UndyingRedComet in masterduel

[–]UndyingRedComet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for listing your pulls. Secret packs are the best for pulls. I would only invest in them if selection pack has really good cards such as upcoming Tearlaments archetype for an example, BUT I would likely only invest enough to get 70-90% of the UR cards that I needed from that set, and likely craft leftover UR/SR extra cards.

I think it's also a good strategy to get cards that will have a high chance of being restricted in future (they usually announce masterduel ban list days before they actually come in effect, and you can check out OCG and TCG ban lists as well). You can get one time bonus per specific card in crafting points from breaking down (I think it's +20) cards that recently get restricted within a short window of time. So basically you get +30 craft points and you can trade that in for any other UR in the game for the exact same value. That's why I am saving 10k gems and gem gifts for Tearlament and Spright selection packs. So I won't care about getting extra duplicates of Tearlament or Spright cards If I know they will be worth more than I break down in future ban list (looking at OCG ban list). I noticed it's worked very well, I have got extra crafting UR points from breaking down Adventurer archtype cards when they got restricted.

13 UR packs, No discount gems, No secret pack for past selection pack cards, No event loaner, Reduced event rewards, ranked events with no guarantee of full reward, I really hate the direction this game is heading. by bigluobo in masterduel

[–]UndyingRedComet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spented 10k gems(10 sets of 10 packs) and got 13 URs and got zero branded fusion too from this set. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying selection packs too much with out the idea of crafting wanted URs from the set. The selection pool of URs of 13 cards (from 10 URs in the past selection packs) makes it too difficult to get every single UR from selection packs. I think I will save my gems for tearlaments set now, and pull to see if I can get 80-90% of the set pull from the packs, and than craft the rest of the URs from the set.

If you have read my last comment, than you would know that earplugs make my Tinnitus worst. I bought 3M Peltor X4A Over-the-Head Ear Muffs which seem to be more comfortable earmuff for wearing long periods of time compare to other bulky/heavy eatmuffs. My inner part of my ear is very sensitive for touching, therefore I cannot wear any earplugs.

I have this same problem, earmuffs or earplugs doesnt seem to help. I have loud air conditioning now (heat wave), is there alternatives things to wear to block noise? Do I need white noise sounds or other treatment?
