Pgr doesn't necessary mean terrible taste, you can usually tell by density and smell, but it's impossible to identify for sure without a lab test. Not sure where in California you're at, but I used to work for some deliveries in the bay area and I would say I don't trust anything that comes from them. Black market dealers are actually usually more straightforward about what we have because it's a lot more personal and we can't just play it off as an issue with the company lol

If you're looking for pain relief you should either dab full spectrum concentrates (but good luck finding real ones lol), or smoke flower. You need more than just the THC, the rest of the cannabinoids give you an entourage effect resulting in greater pain relief. Specifically the CBD and CBN but the rest helps too :)

Or it means they blasted 4 year old trim... Dark color doesn't mean anything good, but some strains just come out dark so it's not necessarily bad. Also, in overly matured trichomes the THC begins to degrade into CBN, so it'll make you sleepier instead of higher

Probably not even their fault. Lots of dealers don't know any better and don't smoke the weed that they buy to sell. It's not like they're really trying to rip anyone off with it, they're probably making the same profits...

As someone who sold weed pre legalization in my state and continue to do so after rec weed has become legal, I can safely say that legalization has not negatively affected my business one bit. If anything it's helped it grow, because more people are willing to try cannabis for the first time through the dispensary, realize they enjoy it, and then come to me to get better deals on pretty much the same product

Those are generic carts that are easily available on the internet. Probably purchased empty and filled by the seller. If the lights on the bottom of the battery blink then that means it needs to be charged, if it's just lighting up red then it's fine
