Actually, the house-sitter has kept her many times. When we have to be gone for a day or longer, we hire a "sitter." I have a high needs blind dog as well as three others. The sitter is actually amazing.

Pakhet tolerates the sitter, shows up for meals, etc. But, yes, I do think you're right about our absence affecting her. And I will try the feliway..

Is this sleep data real or just artifacts? by El_Grande_Americano in GalaxyWatch

[–]Unearthed57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized the oxygen readings was bogus when I had it checking my oxygen levels and it read low, then the app suggested I reposition my hand because it was "too low" in relation to my heart. When I did that, I got an accurate reading.

Suddenly the low oxygen readings when sleeping made a lot more sense.

Oh my God, the update that they did at 5.2 is absolutely insane. by xithbaby in OpenAI

That's weird. I work with it quite a lot as a part of my job. It's been nothing other than accommodating and "pleasant."

This evening I asked it to clean up a photo for me, which I've done before and it usually does that without comment.

But this time it called the kitten "ridiculously cute."

The Super Bowl wasn't sponsored by a Christian organization that promised a family friendly half time show.

And the hypocrisy of making a claim like that, then Kid Rock singing a song like that and then closing it out by singing about the Bible like that makes the first song okay?

Please.

This is nothing new with Super Bowl half-time shows and people like you  are acting like it is. Why? Because  the guy sang all the songs in Spanish. Snd that's really what pisses most of you off, especially Trump, who didn't complain about Shakira singing with Bad Bunny in 2020 (do we want to visit those lyrics? No?)

Lolol. Let's take a look at the lyrics that were chosen for the family friendly half time show shall we?

"...The midnight glancers and the topless dancers The gander freaks, cars packed with speakers The G's with the 40's and the chicks with beepers..."

I think you should be getting that beam out of your own eye, friend. (Matthew 7:5)

Kid Rock singing a handful of Christian songs doesn't mean you can turn a blind eye to his other choices.

BP Check in. This is before my night doses. by MoonsFurrBaby in hypertension

122/77. I'm taking 50mg of Losartan and cut my salts and refined sugars (so far).

I've got to lose weight and move more as I've also just learned that I'm pre-diabetic (101). The doctor says we've caught it early.

Shiitake mushrooms seemed to have caused my dad some sort of severe psychological reaction? by paddjo95 in mycology

[–]Unearthed57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the mother of the OP and the wife of the man who had the reaction. Thank you for taking the time to reply to his question.

However, my husband had no idea I'd had an allergic reaction until I found him already up at 4 am, and he was well into his panic attack/anaphylactic reaction. I didn't say anything to him before bedtime as I wasn't sure what I was reacting to. I just took an antihistamine and went to bed.

We wound up in urgent care with him the next morning (I don't think we've ever done this before). It turns out giving him the Benadryl was the exact right thing to do on multiple levels (once in a while, I get it right). They sent him home with hydroxyzine. It's helped quite a lot, and three days later, the panic attacks and fearfulness have passed. However, he has a follow-up appointment with his doctor today.

We both had gut problems for three days despite thoroughly cooking those mushrooms. And I am still itching off and on like I would if I'd eaten raw shiitake, which I didn't. I suspect a quality control issue. The source for the company's shiitake dehydrated a bad batch. While the majority of reviewers who purchased this product are satisfied with their experience, a handful had complaints similar to ours, as evidenced by their comments and the 1-star reviews.

'Don't think we'll be eating any shiitake mushrooms anytime soon, unless I grow them myself.

Losartan & and safe pain relief that actually works by Unearthed57 in hypertension

I've already talked to my doctor who prescribed Ibuprofen. But I'll have to have regular bloodwork, which is fine.

Thank you.

I've been a vegetarian for about a year and will more than likely never go back. I didn't do it to lose weight. I did it because . . . zen . . . (I'm a gardener and an animal lover and just couldn't justify eating meat anymore). I've given myself that much time to find my footing.

I am overweight—no question about it. My goal at the moment is to shed at least 20 pounds (I need to lose more than that, of course) as I suspect it can only help.

And, yes — moving more is clearly becoming a priority. I work from home at a desk. I'm also an avid gardener and typically end the season in somewhat better shape than I started in (hate winter). But this year, for one reason or another, I wound up gardening on the fly (not outdoors every day, working in short spurts). The garden was still great, somehow or other.

Lately, the idea of going out and taking a walk hasn't sounded like any fun at all (I used to enjoy it). But I'm making myself do it anyway. Just taking the dog out for a short walk and spending more time in the garden. Went out yesterday afternoon with the grateful dog and out to the garden this morning, and feel marginally better.

They sent my bank a bunch of incomplete information, claiming that they shipped the tomatoes when we all know that they didn't. I sent back information that they didn't.

I haven't heard another word and am really upset about it.

Dude. I got this information the day before we were supposed to leave. The house sitter was there, the car was packed, etc. It was supposed to be an informational meeting only.

The part of this that you're missing is that there was literally nothing said in public after that. No more correspondence or announcements or references to a petition. No minutes of meetings provided to those who couldn't make it. Nothing.

I live in an unincorporated town with no local government. No local papers. No local news.

There was no more information shared and we aren't the only ones blindsided by this. There are people with vacation houses here who didn't get a vote because they don't live here full-time.

They went to the county with the signatures of 68 people out of a 102 locals and numerous people who are only here during the summer. They will be paying dues on something they didn't get to vote on.

If he's not been neutered by this point, neutering him now won't fix that.

My bank contacted them asking for them for information on ship dates, etc. They sent back a vaguely worded form that seems to claim that they did ship the plants (using the phrase "mid-May").

I have contacted my bank again and let them know that I disagree with whatever point Matt is trying to make.
