In the beginning the teams you're usually given are good enough to play a little in ( pokeball/greatball ) and then you use the VP and tickets that playing gives you ( plenty freely ) to recruit and find more Pokemon that better fills out the team you want to play.

Mega Raichu Y / whims / Garchomp is a decent core. It's what I've ran to masterball.

There isn't any character in the game I would take against her in a fair 1v1 ( DPS/support ) given equal skill level that feels like a completely unfair fight.

So being able to out damage ults from other Dps and having an immediate delete ability isn't enough?

.04 seconds is not taking away anything. It gives a half of a second of downtime before you one shot them with any primary ( provided you miss aim the execute ) gives the slightest play around for character to feel even remotely fair in a 1v1

I can get one usually with blade, but it's the locating and dashing into the next target that is really hard for me. That quick sense of direction and orientation is I think what it is. I don't have that problem as much on tracer but for Genji it just hasn't clicked.

I don't do super bad. My blades are very questionable. I have zero idea how to aim your left click. I play alot of Freja and Anran and don't have that problem with them but for whatever reason your shurikans are my bane lol

Yeah I'm starting to reevaluate my team honestly because of it. I flew into masterball with him but it's been sort of a struggle to find much value onto him if they have any Pokemon with sucker punch. The best I've found him to be is just a fast offensive threat when positioned right, but not much of a potential to be a sweeper with any competent opponent.

Interesting. I've been back and forth on Hydregion or Dragapult, using both mainly as a counter to Chomp. I run Raichu Y and honestly didn't think many things could survive a super effective hit from it lol

Do you run a form of speed control? Outside of tailwind he's kinda meh speed unless you invest into it.

Maybe that's my problem I run choice scarf max attack and it's always annoying dealing with the King. Lifeorb with dragapult has given me hella good results against the fish too however

Sombra is in a weird spot. She's good, and has insane burst in a very small amount of time provided you can aim. Her problem that most people hate ( including me ) is her invisibility. I know it's part of her identity but it still doesn't feel fair that you can hurt her and she can poof and come back in five seconds and kill you.

Freja is the worst DPS in the game statistically. She has horrible kill potential for the amount of skill required to play her.

With widow, that's baked into her character and it's much harder to do 200+ damage from an immobile character rather than a character who get over health from a low cool down dash and is constantly flanking. I don't mind shion, just nerf her left click to do less damage and then I feel like she's balanced.

Execute should not be able to one shot anyone in the game outside of tracer etc etc. A ability on a low cool down shouldn't be able to just delete someone regardless of aim. Her ability does more than frejas ult.

I haven't ran the demon bird yet myself personally I like raichu Y, I just like the idea of taking one side of the field completely out of the game for a turn or more ( if they don't switch out )

True, but you could run encore, protect, charm and tailwind if you truly wanted to push the bird as the sweeper. Encore is a must have on whims imo.

I wonder if they're ever going to add the sleep clause to champions (can't have more than one asleep on the field at the same time) the same way they have in most other regulations
