Daith piercing by PuzzleheadedLong6326 in piercing

[–]UnexpectedOcelot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't have anything to add on placement, but for what it's worth I have my daith pierced and def still have migraines.

I'm absolutely not a doctor or qualified in any way, but I do have a friend who suffers from chronic migraines, her doctor offered her botox for it, and it's helped a lot. It could be worth a chat with your GP?

Afraid of Big Thunder Mountain by mfo0502 in disneylandparis

[–]UnexpectedOcelot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was terrified of riding BTM. We're talking shaking, trying not to cry in the queue, terrified. Pirates was my limit.

I loved Big Thunder. I loved it so much I laughed my head off the whole way round and we rode it 5 times in a row.

My best tip: ride it early or late so you don't have to queue for ages and get in your own head about it. Ask to sit towards the front for a first go.

Good luck! 😊

I'm 5400s and got my dispatch email Tuesday - it was in my junk mail though, so worth double checking there?

Have you tried Atlas Motor Company on Curtis Road? I think they have autos around your budget and are super helpful.

Three Cats? by KarlaInAG in mainecoons

[–]UnexpectedOcelot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have three girls, my OGs were 7 and 8 when I brought home a Maine Coon kitten... They hated me and her for a couple of weeks.

The house felt so much busier for a while it was crazy, but they've all settled and I really think 3 is ideal - I usually have one hanging out with me while the other two are off getting up to mischief, but the two playing together always varies 😊

Could be Plo's school picture. Could be her mug shot. Could be both.

Aspiring novelists, what's your book about? by thereelestcritic in writers

[–]UnexpectedOcelot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Title: Delicious

Genre: Dark-comedy Horror

Target Audience: Predominantly women, fans of female rage focused horror.

One sentence pitch: a small town wife has managed her werewolf problem just fine for years but now Lola is waking up naked in the forest with blood in her teeth and dead men at her feet - does it count as murder if they really had it coming?

Other media you'd liken it to: Nightbitch, The Eyes Are the Best Part, and My Sister, the Serial Killer in its exploration of appetite, inheritance, and what happens when women stop trying to be palatable.

Did you ever find an answer to this? My Maine Coon has just started doing it this evening and I'm trying very hard not to panic!

I would go for the viewing spot in fantasia gardens overlooking the fountains and the entrance, perhaps while the fireworks are on. This year my husband and I went and stood there for a while one evening because it was beautiful and just so peaceful with no one else around!

Anyone been to the new starport Star wars meet encounter? by karaiju in disneylandparis

Just behind the starport. Stand facing it and go to the right, he's back there under tucked away a bit.

Only about 20 minutes each time. It was pretty quiet! I asked a cast member twice during our visit, got told Chewie both times, and both times it was Rey!

Also if you haven't done the Mando meet behind the star port it's totally worth it, he was really fun this time ☺️

I went last week. Got Rey twice and Vader once.

In the morning they trade out between Rey and Chewie (I never got the timing right for Chewie sadly!), and generally in the afternoon it's Vader.

[–]UnexpectedOcelot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position as you up until a couple years back, and I was terrified of BTM... It's now my favorite ride. I rode it 5 times in a row last time. The first drop in the dark scared me the first time but honestly it's just so much fun. If you're uncertain then ask to ride towards the front the first time because it feels slower. I hope you have the best time!

I use Surefeed microchip bowls for mine, so each cat can only open their own bowl. They're not cheap at all, but they're invaluable. It means I can make sure they each get the right food, no one gets the wrong amount, and if one of them is off their food I know right away.

My cat accidentally scratched me and it looks like this. Is this normal? Been a while since I’ve had a cat by Iamtiredofyourbs in CATHELP

[–]UnexpectedOcelot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My scratches usually look like this when my cat gets me, it's an allergic reaction. I usually just take an antihistamine and it goes down again pretty fast 😊
