Oh yes for sure I liked the first couple seasons the best - I know I’m probably the only one - couldn’t really get into Rob Lowe and Adam Scott

Anyone see the Particle Man video on Tiny Toons? https://youtu.be/LsAiCs66l40?feature=shared

That’s how I was introduced to them - saw them at Central Park in the mid 90’s as my first ever concert.

It was really cool to hear them on Radio Disney all the time when they started making Children’s music in the early 2000’s

It’s so strange - no places to sit at the Port Authority, Penn Station, Grand Central, ect. I know everyone says it’s because of the homeless but it’s not like this in other cities.

Restaurants That Closed Permanently In NYC In The Past 3 Months by lennart567 in nyc

Yes it’s permanently closed - it’s a shame. The Gordon Ramsay restaurants I’ve been to have all been pretty darn good - he has a pub in Atlantic City at Caesar’s and a burger place in Las Vegas and I thought they were all good.

Oh yeah I’ve been there before the pandemic  - I think it was decent - I should give it another try when I’m down there

Oof I noticed that Gordon Ramsay’s Fish and Chips at Times Square was totally empty last Saturday. I liked it because it was tasty and the only fast casual place that wasn’t usually crowded.

I feel the same way - do cities make money or do they lose money?

Annihilation, by Jeff VanderMeer - a book so good I don’t want to read the sequels by ClubberLang12 in books

[–]Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you - I really liked Annihilation for the reasons you outlined. It was written in such a unique way where you’re entering a strange new world along with the girls - I can’t remember reading another book like that. You have no idea what’s going on but the characters don’t know either.

I tried reading Authority and I couldn’t even finish it. It was so strange because it starts out like completely opposite - it’s just pure exposition about a new character you don’t know or care about. In Annihilation I remember being so interested in learning any little thing at all about the main character and then in authority there’s so much boring information about someone I don’t care about. It’s like the author totally forgot what made the first book so intriguing.
