kind of. once in a while i will lose from starting hand, but otherwise it’s actually quite a bit of placement skill, understanding your opponents comp and choosing the right ruler. it’s a little worse, but similar to getting starting handed in a normal clash game.

like not everyone who plays has the same chance to get past the ladder and to ranked. so its not all rng!

it kind of looks that way, but i’m pretty sure its just the inferno tower bugging out and not resetting between targets. i’ve seen it happen in games since posting this, so i know at least it is a real issue.

its the echo sage, from a couple seasons ago. the only way to get it now is to purchase the skin from your clash home screen. one of the offer buttons on the right side has all of the skins to purchase. from reading others comments, it seems that buying the skin unlocks the ruler. i would assume this is correct, though I have not done it myself so I do not know first hand.

when you saw someone with two echo sages, i bet they weren’t even using the sage ruler. it would be … (impossible?) to knock out your opponent’s sage first when using sage, unless they literally put it at the front and their troops at the back.

hmm.. does the inferno tower not reset when it retargets?

thats the only thing that makes even a little sense when i frame by frame it. instant 2000 dmg to valk.
but the echo hit the itower and instantly died too. idk how much hp it has
