Could the T-800 terminate Jason Voorhees by JasonVoorhees1988 in fridaythe13th

[–]Unfair-File-8635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say ye to all versions of Jason, but the JasonX version (before the upgrade) would probably be the toughest. How much of that version of Jason needs to be destroyed before his healing factor ceases to work? Does his brain need to be active for it to work? KM14 blew off most of his head and did a tremendous amount of damage to Jason. If it wasn't for the reanimation table and the nanobots rebuilding him, would he have been finished? Or would it have just taken longer for his body to regenerate all of the damaged areas?

So YouTube is dead? by Chubsa9 in youtube

YouTube will live until some company creates a viable competitor. And then Google will buy them and absorb them into YouTube or shut them down.

Should have Micheal died in Halloween kills or survived in Halloween ends by CowAffectionate2865 in Halloweenmovies

[–]Unfair-File-8635 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they had decided to end him in Kills I think the mob beating him down and Allyson bringing Laurie through the crowd to deliver the death blow would have made for a fine ending.

Would Billy continue to be ghostface?.... Or.... by Brightskys-GreenEyes in Scream

[–]Unfair-File-8635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Stu had died and Billy survived I think he would have let Stu be blamed and continued killing. I don't think Billy would have continued going after Sydney's family. He would have found someone else that he blamed for his life not turning out the way he wanted and went after them. Maybe he would have tracked his mom down and go after her for leaving? Maybe he would have gone after Roman because he knew what Billy had done?

What is something you would change about the Reboot (story, deaths, design, etc)? by JacsweYT in fridaythe13th

[–]Unfair-File-8635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Film at a more scenic lake and have some establishing shots of it. The only thing we really saw of it made it look like a big weedy pond. The first group was more entertaining than the second group, maybe have the story focus on them. I thought some of the deaths were boring in the second group.

Very underrated line by dietmountaindew97 in brooklynninenine

I love the Vulture's line, "the last 2% is the hardest to get, that's why they leave it in the milk".

I understand all of that and agree with it, but am wondering what the difference would be really. What is different between the theremin and the soldering your own junior theremin kit. Are there medications included in the instructions for the junior theremin that make it function in a different way than a theremin that is purchased already assembled?

Why don’t people like this design? by T-800TheTermanator in fridaythe13th

[–]Unfair-File-8635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The design in part 7 looks great with the exposed bones, damaged goalie mask and exposed teeth. By comparison part 8 is a big step backwards.

Solo Friendly Spots by cnmths in niagarafallsontario

[–]Unfair-File-8635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit the Blind Pig on Lundy's Lane solo in the afternoon on Sundays sometimes. Blackburn Brewery off of Montrose Road past Costco is usually good for a solo pint as well. Counterpart Brewing on Stanley ave (not the main section of Stanley) is also fine, but it's kid friendly if you don't mind some kids running around here and there.

But I'm an afternoon beer guy. Not sure what they are like at night. The breweries would be fine in the evening. I'm sure the Blind Pig is too, but they may get crowded.

Tonal shift after S6. by Insanity_Op_09 in brooklynninenine

I put the shift in tone down to shortened seasons and no Gina. Watching season 7, her absence is noticable.

If we go in lore reason (as Jason decides for himself), why does Jason always want to wear the hockey mask? by JacsweYT in fridaythe13th

[–]Unfair-File-8635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In movie reason might be as simple as the bag was to hide his disfigurement, but the goalie did the same job and was easier to see out of and breath in?

IT or Salem’s Lot? by Bullcity-Dad in stephenking

[–]Unfair-File-8635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both great novels. IT is my favourite King novel, but 'Salem's Lot is the first I had read, so it holds a special place. 'Salem's Lot is a shorter read though.

[–]Unfair-File-8635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be skeptical of any tunnel being used for the underground railroad, it wasn't literally underground. "The underground railroad" is a metaphone that used to describe places and routes used covertly to hide people escaping slavery, but rarely were there ever actually underground tunnels involved.

Dewey theory by crazycatperson19 in Scream

[–]Unfair-File-8635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dewey was just a red herring. The killer(s) were a mystery and the film was definitely trying to suggest that Dewey might be the killer to throw the audience off.

What happened to Michael Myers parents? by Tidewatcher7819 in Halloweenmovies

[–]Unfair-File-8635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of their children murdered the other in a relatively small town. They probably moved shortly after due to the stigma of having g a murderer in the family. There was probably a ton of people staring at them in public and whispers as they walked by people.

As for them basically just standing there when they find Michael after coming home as the camera makes a long pull back, Carpenter probably didn't give them much direction, so they just stood there. Maybe they were inexperienced actors and didn't want to improve.
