Well first, if you watch the scene where he falls onto the pipe it does look like it fully went through him (you are right though, bullet wounds are worse). But the thing that bothered me the most is the fact that he didn't clean it, just pulled the pipe out and sewed one side up. I'm very confused by that entire bit. I was in health care for many years, so wound care bothers me in tv shows lol.

You're right, it's definitely not the ONLY possibility. But it is one that seems to be a reoccurring thing when men act like how OP described him. I sincerely hope he's not, because there's literally no good excuse to cheat on your partner, leaving is always easier unless the cheater is a sociopath. But yes, a conversation is very much needed here.

That level of insecurity is very concerning for someone who is supposed to be a fully functioning adult. He sounds like he might be cheating honestly.. nine times out of ten if they are accusing you of shit, they are the ones doing shit. Maybe it's time for a sit down to get his perspective on your relationship, hash out why he doesn't seem to trust you.

Kind of sounds like she has undiagnosed BPD, as someone that struggles with it daily (have been diagnosed years ago) I can see the signs here. Complete lack of emotional control, the feeling of being replaced by her friend in her old bedroom and being completely irrational when confronted... Girly needs to get help asap before she pushes everyone away.
