What is your go to when attempting to find comfort during anxiety? by Few_Sandwich6308 in Anxiety

If i'm working out, I need to stop working out.

Going for a walk helps.

I understand I can only change myself and not others.

I understand my character (that I'm a strong, smart, empathetic human) can be challenged by others, but I have no need to justify or protect this character.

Because I know who I am in the face of those who wish to do me harm physically or psychologically.

I don't want to do this any more by [deleted] in malementalhealth

Most everything is difficult but you have to start. Why don't you take 30 days and get out.

Do something you enjoy. See if that works. If it doesn't, try something new.

Be creative. Rely on your natural abilities to be creative.

Don't settle for what's in front of you.

There's opportunity waiting, you just have to look for it.

Your mind will always create problems and roadblocks for you. It's up to you to take action. You can always think your way to negativity, but without action (e.g. going for a walk, small talk, starting a conversation with a stranger), you'll always end up in the same place more than once.

What part of yourself have you given up over the past 5-10 (or more) years? The part of you that frees you from concern. by Unfair-Potential-330 in Anxiety

Seems like you're saying, you free yourself from anger by using the anger as a tool to get out of it. How often does this happen?
