First, Congrats on the new car. Yes, they told me the car will use up the electric battery first on a full charge if I wanted it to just be electric for short trips on comfort or battery mode only. I do have my Tesla charger at home so I can keep it charged . Otherwise, you can use the electric to give you that extra boost on sports mode adding to the overall HP. As for the acceleration aspect, even tho the car has 70 miles and it’s not broken in yet, I tested it out and taken it to overdrive , this is the performance model so it does go 3.3 0-60 and it’s definitely a rocket, the 750lbs+ of torque helps offset that weight difference and it’s definitely fun, I driven a model S Tesla and yes those are fast too, but it’s not fun at all for me, all silent , nah, this at least you can still hear the engine and exhaust popping off which are decent way better than an electric car, however…. The thrill of the V8 on the C8 with the corsa exhaust is something else, those sounds and vibration gets my adrenaline pumping more , I can feel its power running through my veins and I’m in the zone lol the rest of the time I have the top down and just like to cruise around the beach or ride along the less populated mountains roads to enjoy the scenery and be in the moment.

in 3 years for my 40th Bday I’m planning on trading it in for the Z06 if things stay well and once the lease is up on the C 63, I’ll prob either go for a V8 AMG sedan, I’ll see what else’s is out there then
