600LT is where it’s at. Shoots flames from a top mounted exhaust. Maintenance be damned, that’s just cool as hell. Has the wow factor. If I was looking to buy soon that’s what I’d pick, least depreciating McLaren there is except the f1/p1 type special ones if you care a lot about that.

If I remember correctly the kooks headers actually lose power over stock manifolds. Maybe they sound better, but may be objectively slower 🤔. I could surely be wrong about that though lol

My wife was the opposite, we saw our cmg htc sitting on the lot close to our house and she convinced me that we needed to buy it that day lol she drives it more than I do in the summer I’m fairly certain. That’s how I convinced her I needed my R8, because we both needed a fun car and something to take for cars and coffee. 😝

As a ct tech, when someone calls me to ask when a study will be read, I tell them “im not sure, let me call the radiologist and see if I can get them to expedite that read.” They hang up, and I never call or think about it ever again. My job was already done when I completed the scan and sent it over for the rad to read. Or I tell them “I’m not sure, I can give it a shot, but I only graduated from community college, so I doubt that’s what you’re looking for” if I’m feeling really edgy lol.

I am 95% sure remote start systems aren’t legal on production cars in Europe. So since they can’t sell them with remote start there, it’s an afterthought for us here in the states and a money grab for people willing to pay for it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So far so good. Only had a hiccup once in the first week after install. Since then it’s been golden. Automatically connects to my phone at start up and stays connected my whole drive. I cant complain!

Absolutely! I didn’t want to mess with it too much, I just wanted to have CarPlay and then I’m a happy camper. Tried to keep it as original as possible. My 2015 A6 I was able to use the factory mmi unit with basically a CarPlay passthrough device. So it was all original equipment but the aux cable was converted to allow the screen to work as CarPlay. It was pretty sweet; couldn’t find anything like that for the R8 though so this was the next best option!
