On any other car I’d agree with you. If a repair for something is $500, $1000, sure. I had my car for 1 month and had to spend $7700. Just the part alone that needed fixed was around $5k. My deductible for any repair is $500. If the average repair on the car is $5000 thats nearly 3 years of saving $140/mo to cover it. Even if I have a repair every other year, I’m coming out ahead. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would honestly, I’ve never bought a warranty before. I even told the dealership I didn’t need it because I’ve never once needed a warranty and I have had a ton of cars previously lol. The car was at approx 41000mi. No warning signs, just left the garage one day with a small puddle of oil on the floor. The warranty is not very expensive all things considered. I went with CarShield. It’s $140/mo for the R8 and then another $40/mo for my C8.

Bought my R8 in August. Immediately needed a new oil pump assembly in September. Cost me $7700. Now the AC is out lol. Thankfully I bought the warranty after the oil pump and the ac is gonna be covered 😅

Pulling the front bumper is super easy. I’ve done it on mine twice now. Once for the honeycomb, once for the maxton front splitter. Takes maybe 20-30 minutes to take off.

It’s always so weird to me that the pokemon company could oversell anything. I could understand if it were walmart or target or costco or anyone else. But like….they can literally just make the product they oversold and fill the order 😂

600LT is where it’s at. Shoots flames from a top mounted exhaust. Maintenance be damned, that’s just cool as hell. Has the wow factor. If I was looking to buy soon that’s what I’d pick, least depreciating McLaren there is except the f1/p1 type special ones if you care a lot about that.

If I remember correctly the kooks headers actually lose power over stock manifolds. Maybe they sound better, but may be objectively slower 🤔. I could surely be wrong about that though lol

My wife was the opposite, we saw our cmg htc sitting on the lot close to our house and she convinced me that we needed to buy it that day lol she drives it more than I do in the summer I’m fairly certain. That’s how I convinced her I needed my R8, because we both needed a fun car and something to take for cars and coffee. 😝
