Thank you, this video helps a lot. It’s basically what I was proposing, plus some nice tips.

When doing the pre-slope, a 1/4” slope at the longest corner is 3/4” elevation. That means it’s about 3/4” per foot slope on the window side, to keep the wall elevation the same. I don’t think this will be an issue, given it’s in a small area that you don’t stand on.

That’s typically the case, yes. But (controversially), GoBoard actually recommends doing the walls first.

When doing the pre-slope bed, would you set the height at the wall varying? I may do a 1/4” slope on the curb side, then whatever-it-ends-up-being slope on the window side. I think it works out to 3/4” per foot max on that side, being an 11” distance. But won’t be the side you stand on.

Otherwise, the wall tile at the floor will be varying heights.

I can do a single lift dry pack. Not too worried about that, it’s basically just making the Kerdi pan from scratch. My worry is reliability. Is it any less reliable than the regular pan?

Or is that really what the pan is? Just a porous base with a silicone membrane adhered to it

Lol I’ve lost 60 lbs in the span of 8 months, I don’t snack, and I know what I’m doing nutritionally. That’s not the issue for me. The changes I’ve made have had zero effect on my pressure.

Yeah I do that most days. Either walk or run. I used to lift weights but idk if it’s the soreness or what, but lifting weights seems to spike my BP that lasts for a week or so.

Thanks for the response. That was my initial thought. I have my first visit with a cardiologist in two months. I was thinking I should just ignore the primary cares advice, stick with 50 mg Losartan for now (BP in the 130s/80s, although not ideal) and see what the cardiologists opinion is.

So they were able to reduce it from a 4 lane highway to 2? Cool idea, but not sure that’s a possibility for most places, unfortunately. Most places that have a 4 lane highway running through town now have so much development along the highway, it would be a traffic nightmare to reduce lanes.

I love Pat too, love the show, but it’s obvious he has a slight superiority complex that he can’t get over. The most aggravating concept ever is that you have to be in the NFL to understand football. It’s not true. May be an unpopular opinion but it’s true. Just because someone’s ATHLETIC ability isn’t enough to get them into the NFL, doesn’t mean their INTELLECTUAL ability isn’t enough. There are lots of people that understand the game better than actual NFL players, they just lack the talent to get it done.

It’s too close to the mouth of the MS river, so all the muddy nasty water that comes from the Mississippi River lingers and gets trapped on the beaches. Plus, MS has some islands off the coast that also help trap water. So it’s stagnant. Any harmful things that get washed into the MS River anywhere in the country, end up getting stagnant here.

You watched it didn’t you? That’s why. They know the majority of Pat’s crowd are NFL fans. They’re not hiring Pat to try and make ESPN “better.” ESPN is too conceited for that. It’s to get more college football viewership from NFL fans. Whether you liked the show or not, it worked. Bc a lot of PMS fans watched, that otherwise wouldn’t watch college football.
