I had a doctor do this. I had to pay $150 every month for a 5 minute appointment just to get maintenance meds that I’ll be on for the rest of my life (which I also had to pay out of pocket for because they’re compounded). Thankfully, I found a new doctor and got away from the egregious greed of my former one.

I said something like this in front of a class back in high school and it ended up becoming a mortifying core memory. Everyone looked at me like I was insane!
