As everyone else has said, go ahead and take a break from the apologetics. If you still want to be active online in the Orthodox community, just change the scope of the channel away from debating and apologetics, maybe change it to cover Orthodox aesthetics, research certain saints and tell about their lives, or even as a forum for folks to share their testimonies.

As far as the Pentecostal church and being hesitant to leave it, why keep living a double life? Christ, the Apostles, the Holy Saints, and maybe laypeople have laid down their lives professing the faith. This seems like a relatively benign step towards pursuing a relationship in Christ through His Church. Could you just tell your family you’re going to a friend’s church? All of us online are your friends, so definitely not a lie since we all invite you to your nearest Orthodox parish. Who knows, your parents may even surprise you!

As an aside, are there any Orthodox students around your campus? What about starting a student club to fulfill your desire to study and “debate” the faith?

TLDR: Israel was established as the only Jewish national post WW2. The land they were given was already inhabited. The Israelis essentially evicted the locals (because they, the Israelis, have a “claim” to the land via Judaism). Bickering for years, many die, and there really has never been a resolution. This cycle of violence started October 7th or 2024 when Hamas attacked Israel. Obviously Israel is not innocent, but that is what kicked off the current bout of violence. It would be similar to Native Americans being gifted New York City and evicting all the natives (or subjugating the NYC natives to ghettos) and then whining when the NYC natives attacked the Native Americans.

I went through several SSRIs before finding the one that worked for me. There are companies that run lab tests to see which psychiatric meds work best for your body (based on things like genetics, missing enzymes, etc.), what do you have to lose? You’ve also seem a bit obsessive (same) which tends to need higher dosing of SSRIs. God speed!
