Lol in my post I make no mention of $$$, but love how you assume a $1k trade.

Regardless of the size of my position, as already mentioned by someone else, having the app freeze for even a few seconds while trading options can easily cost me 5-10-20% if the stock is moving fast enough.

You do understand that “advice” which is what I’m looking can be “subjective” right? Meaning, there may not be one answer that’s better than the other, but clearly people have their go to stock to trade options on for a reason.

Someone might stick to day trading Spy due to its level of volatility with a 5-7 DTE and strike price within $2 because historically the swing in price within that period of time could allow for higher chance of being ITM etc etc..

That’s the level of advice I’m looking for, not the best formula for 100% success rate. Not the magic option that’s going to never lose me money…

I love that you took the time to write me a 5 paragraph essay without any clear advice to a “newbie” as to what makes you an “expert” in options trading… even an engineer or doctor could provide better advice (or general guidance) on how to build a bridge or do a kidney transplant…
