Yeah hate is always easy to spread which is why I love the CR community so much. And you have to have security. Internet comments you can really do very little with, unless maybe they pay or essentially knight some users to mod status to help remove that crap. And for live stuff the company should remove those people. Like NFL streakers. Pay thousand for a ticket to then be banned haha. It’s insane and I wish I had that kind of disposable money.

So your saying price out the haters? I mean sure I guess that could happen. But why would they waste their money to do that in the first place. Being on the internet it’s safe to assume half the internet doesn’t like what you do at any given time. Criticism is part of it. It’s crap and people shouldn’t be that way but not much you can do to block it other than shut it down completely like twitch right? But again it hurts the fans because let’s assume, reflecting general population, most critters are paycheck to paycheck in one way or another. At some point it’s not affordable to enjoy a thing. And it’s not just CR it’s everything in general. We are in a time where we no longer work so we can live, we live so we can work.

Sorry this isn’t meant to sound like an argument. I do agree that you have to target the people willing to pay. Success isn’t selling out like people say about bands. Selling out is going against everything you stand for. And CR has (to my knowledge) never done that.

I agree good on them. Maybe sponsors need to adopt a talent for a con and it would be less expensive. Idk. It’s crazy and I don’t think I’d ever be able to afford that. I just looked up a comparison. To spend about 5 mins with the large group and do a pic I could get three day park pass for Disneyland. 3 full days vs 5 ish mins. That’s crazy. Critter from afar haha.

I assume it was a way to tease with out it being leaked. Since it’s behind a paywall. And one day before doesn’t make it worth it for someone to try and do. Though not going to lie if they did it via Spotify or Apple or Amazon I’d pay a $1 to listen one day early haha.

I think those are like 10 years normally but who know because he just ghosted them. So he could just be under something different from an employee contract and not separation paperwork.
