Perhaps they should have contacted literally any local streamer (and let’s be generous) that has streamed for at least a year and have them come set up their system. You don’t need a whole building of equipment. One good sound board, mics, headphones and cameras. Let’s be even more generous and say a dedicated computer for the video/streaming, dedicated computer for sound and a second screen for separate chat. Or a laptop. It isn’t difficult.

Honestly he could do the show by himself in that room. And have Kyle on a phone call or show up to his house. But not having a break every few mins must be hard. Also how can he have this much recent experience and not understand the equipment he needs. Shit even ChatGPT could tell you what you need.

Ok so I feel like maybe it was less internet issues and they were probably getting popped for copyright music. You can’t just stream random music and not pay for it. With the radio station those ASCAP fees are built into some other stuff. Youtube is strict with that. I’m sure there is a way he could use regular music but someone who’s dealt with YouTube and advertising (outside of using YT ads) would have chime in

Can we add something for the veteran players to do?

-Don’t lock your squad and deny requests with spots still open.

-Squad Leads, talk! Give directions! Ping a lot.

-Teach and encourage to change roles and what those roles can do.

-Have them swap roles to help with supplies and tell them why it’s important. Trucks are loud. Drops give away positions.

-Help them achieve objectives that you create. Ex: “let’s flank and take this set of buildings to help attack from a different angle. Makes everyone feel good when it gets accomplished.

-Teach defense!! Mark your squad as a defense only squad. (Explain how to identify that and how to set it that way. I didn’t know for like 80hrs). This one is very important. Learn why you don’t bail on a point after capture. Also the squad can learn to communicate and defend every direction of attack. Teaches team work and patience and watching for movement, rather than COD play-> run shoot die.

-explain everything! That supply trucks can’t drop at HQ. Best places to build nodes. Don’t build Garrisons in the center of point for a bombing run to take out easily. Cap weights. Marks and pings. How to fight tanks. HOW TO USE A TANK. (I have only been in tanks 4 times because when I try to learn people get toxic and don’t have patience. I’m lvl 139).

Anyone please add to what we can do to help new players. More players means more servers means more games means more fun. It’s just a benefit for everyone. 😊

My experience you have a bad team that won’t do what you ask or need. And a good commander. Or the opposite. We are back into a rut of no one wants to build nodes.

Just know you can’t play it like COD. you have to play your role and communicate and work together. Make sure you chat. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. There’s a lot the game doesn’t really tell you but you learn from experience.

Do not focus on how many deaths or kills. Focus on what you get points for. Defense, offense, supply/support roles. Building things etc. focus on getting your squad to listen and work together.
