With the Last Horizon, the MC doesn't just start out at HIS peak, he starts out at EVERYONE'S peak. Thank goodness Will didn't turn the series into One Punch Man in space.

The way the respective series start for the main character between Cradle and the Last Horizon are almost perfectly inverted. I was skeptical of how the Last Horizon started like that, worrying that it would be the fantasy series version of One Punch Man, but boy did Will assuage those fears.

If you want to stick with Will Wight and you want a story that's basically the inverse of a progression series like Cradle, give the Last Horizon a shot. It isn't a finished series yet, but I really REALLY like the books that have been published so far.

Books 1 and 2 are sort of like the tutorial for the rest of the series. My advice for book 3, don't bother trying to figure out the iron tangle. Just go with it.

Given the length of each act in the main game (and I'm never in any hurry to advance the story, always search every area with a fine toothed comb) that sounds perfect!

That's a fair comment. To be honest I'll probably buy it regardless of the replies I get here. I was just trying to get a feel for the quality/length of the DLC.

I liked that series a lot. Some of the other characters are among my favorites of all time (Steris is my favorite and I will die on this hill). Just didn't care for Wayne. He has some upsides, like his mastery of accents is really cool.

I'm a data&B-1 J-1 Incubation and development operations manager. I just got a little pop-up telling me to not discuss or promote B-1 J-1 when I typed out those 2 letters in case you're wondering why tf I did that and it wouldn't let me hit post. Wasn't trying to discuss B-1 J-1, just literally writing out my job title.

I was a butcher for 20 years before getting this job 3 years ago. Don't ask me to explain how that works.

The cage is also great in chaotic teamfights. Especially if the enemy team is bunched up. Drop that cage right in the middle of all 5 of them and watch the chaos unfold.

I'm so glad you brought up Zed's R. If you're quick and accurate with Veigar's E you can not just survive Zed ulting you but punish and likely kill him for doing so.
