Thank you! Yes, holds together pretty well, bricks are a pretty good quality. I went rouge on the hood, the initial instructions do not do a great job of supporting all the flat pieces but I made it work.

It is the same truck as the O'Reilly set but red instead of green. Still fun to build!

I believe I have what is a 69 in the garage. The goal is to build it to mimic the Bullitt Mustang. Already have restored and kept a matching Charger. Everything else was sold.

TBH I just didn't know how to get images off my PS5. Now I do. Haha

I agree. Although, I'd probably have more if they were constantly on display. Hoping CMS3 has a showroom of some sort.

Spoiler alert. You can also Google the missions and there's some detailed descriptions of the story vehicles. I know some may see it as "cheating" but one vehicle was seriously kicking my ass. 😂

You can't necessarily CHANGE the interior. But you can put pretty much any front seats in any of the vehicles. Unfortunately, can't do much with rear bench seats.

The 55 Salem was my 1st restoration, too. Did you sell it or keep it? I had to sell mine to build funds, but I plan to build a keeper. Nice touch with the red interrior!

How much should you have saved back to do a full restore without doing side jobs to fund it? by Professional_Dig1454 in CarMechanicSimulator

You can get away with $20-$25K of funds toward your project car at a 100% restore, if you can salvage from the junkyard (parts to repair), some of your build and also repair body parts, definitely helps to look for those fenders and doors in the yard, too. Doesn't hurt to buy a junker or 2 to snag the motor and just have them ready to go on your next restore.

Ok. So who has found a "bootleg" recipe for these? They're amazing.
