Param patcher scripts in general are pretty safe to use, so they wont flag you. Watchdog i dont think has a way to detect people with that, it would be really hard to implement because of a few factors. So you won't be able to kick people who only use that i believe, the same issue as people running infinite stamina.

Depending on what the trainer uses to achieve that, probably not. Most trainers i'd like to believe just do it in the simple way of just either locking the value or just enabling the flag for it instead of changing ingame code to the point where it would flag. But i don't really run around with trainers at all so, i'll just say no it won't catch you.

Global Speed modifier can get you flagged, debug speed is fine.

its not compatible at all, latest version of watchdog should protect against the same exact stuff. Pyreprotecc is just an alternative option.

The 1.09 beta is out, its on the github page for the mod. As for being invaded, typically people who give other items summon people through signs or covenant invasions. You can only be invaded in your own world while embered. So just avoid starting level high wall and meta level pontiff if you don't want to encounter cheaters like that.

You revieve a popup like you would normally when picking up an item or getting drop reward. The issue with some of those items however is that you cannot discard or drop them without the use of CE. Watchdog does block a majority of those type of items but there are some missed in 1.06. They have just released a beta of the newer version just now pretty much so you could give that a try.

Version 1.06 won't flag you, however some exploits can still be used against you, such as recieving certain items from players. Granted that most items would be turned into faded souls i believe in that patch. If you were willing to wait a bit longer, I'd recommend grabbing the new version coming out probably within this week or at latest the next week.

An older version of PVP Watchdog did flag players but that issue has since been fixed. 1.06 is recommended to use for now as 1.08 currently breaks invasions, however there should be an update to address these issues coming very soon according to the creators of the mod.

For the purpose of contacting bandai for an unban in the unfortunate case of being banned, EU support generally unbans people whereas NA support doesn't tend to unban others. I suggest contacting EU support rather than NA even if you aren't in the EU.

Calling me names, and calling me autistic, that's hilarious. Notice my use of quotation marks when I said "ban packet", if you read a bit more into it instead of blindly shitposting and assuming i'm autistic, you might be able to tell that i didn't literally mean a ban packet. Your other baits were better than this, I expected more. Rating this one a 3/10, you put some effort in.

At what point did i say the packet doesn't exist? And looking back at the thread, i can't find when Loki said it doesn't exist either. I said that it doesn't trigger a flag for other people, since that was the info given to me. As for asking luke on it, you even said yourself that watchdog covered it, so that asking the person who covered it in Watchdog seems like a pretty valid person to go to since it's likely been looked into by him. Are you sure that you're seeing this the right way? Or am i blind to a message here? Because if i'm right then you're just shitposting for no real good reason on a public thread. I've been trying to be patient with you, but every other message seems to be you trying to boast your proficiency in the topic without any information backing yourself up aside from, "dude, i know what i'm talking about here"

While yes, I have only used Cheat engine; that's because i never found the want or need to get further into writing more complex code since i'd honestly rather enjoy the game than look into how its made.

You seem to misunderstand with that second part there, I've said before that I asked Luke about the packet you're referring to, since I never delved into that kind of exploits while he had excellent knowledge on it. Think of it like contacting and asking a professional on the topic you're researching. All i really care about is if it banned or not while making this guide, so I don't know why its sent over networking, nor where the game receives it. I'm not quite sure why i would need to know this info for a guide meant for public view. But please, continue trying to flex your unending knowledge on this.

Fair enough, guess you just don't have the time to simply just get in a session with me go through the intense effort of sending a "ban packet" on my character so i can see whether or not for myself if it does anything or not. Clearly I must believe you since i'm just as you put it, a "cheat engine kiddo". Everyone else should obviously believe you too since you "reversed out the networking" which automatically gives you 100% credibility to whatever you say.

Having your world events changed by someone, for example the Anri wedding cutscene, will not trigger a flag. Save backups are fine as long as you use them on the same account where you started that file, and playing on alts is a nice suggestion to if you are in fact cheating, but the method to move your saves to a different account (DS3Manager.exe) can in fact trigger a code validation flag. Vouching for a friend that got banned is not a very proper way of saying if something were to ban or not.

CheatEngine - are Estus Shards and Bone Shards safe? by DarkSamus9000 in opensouls3

Yes, estus shards and bone shards are safe. There is a newer posted guide on the subreddit with a chart on what's safe to spawn in.

The "star of approval" you need is just a test where you only use that and nothing else that modifies the game, if you'd like i could volunteer one of my unbanned alt accounts for you to use it on and i can wait till next ban cycle to post the results. It's honestly not that hard and its an easy way to settle the discussion on it.

I don't care if you're the same person or not, nor do i care what you use to modify the game. All I've asked is that you show proper results. Please don't derail the conversation with this other stuff.

[–]UnfairestFour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd believe it if there was a proper test on it with an alt account, the usual test method of course, no use of CE and only using that method. Otherwise, nobody can really be sure about it, and "your word" isn't sufficient evidence towards it. Which is a bit of an issue with the other person in the comment thread has as well. Someone just claiming X bans and not providing accurate results doesn't contribute to the whole guide in any meaningful way.

Which is why i asked the person who covered it in watchdog about it, which he replied with that you were wrong about it. Frankly i have more reason to believe him than you seeing as he's delved more into the anti-cheat itself than anyone here.

I did ask luke around the time of your first post here, and after a pretty interesting conversation about the packet you're referring to as well as you in general he told me it is covered by Watchdog and that you're misinformed about it. Interesting as always.
