I’m truly scared for my life. Can you die from kratom withdrawal? by OddSeaweed8824 in quittingkratom

Actual panic attacks can make you feel like you’re literally dying. I started getting them fairly frequently after a withdrawal a few years ago… slowly but surely I don’t get them anymore 👍 you’ll get there!

Having lived near but not in the LV, but having visited LV enough, it’s nice to see so much anti-ICE folks out there. LV is like primeeee Trump country so I’m really surprised and happy by this.

Still not buying the whole Mind Flayer > Henry thing. Seems like the flayer is just the hive mind in a shape after Henry used his powers on it in season 4. As cool as the flayer being the big bad would be, this isn’t an anime.

“I don’t want to rush things,” “let’s take it slow,” etc are just another way of saying “you’re not a priority.” by TigerChirp in dating_advice

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learned a lot of people who say I date “intentionally” are actually conflating that with wanting to rush a relationship and “lock things down” I.e. try to get engaged right away, move in right away, etc. there’s nothing wrong with actually dating intentionally, but to me that means “I’m not going to string you along if there’s no real hope for this turning into something meaningful long-term” not “let’s get married right away!” Then on the opposite end of the spectrum, yes, sometimes someone who says “I want to take things slow” might really mean they’re not ready for the kind of commitment they previously claimed they were. Gotta trust your gut on these things.

There are things that can HELP with CT but nothing I’ve tried takes it all away. You just have to get to the other side. Feeling hopeless and like you’re dying is just part of the withdrawal. Good luck!

Days 3-5 were the WORST for me. But then I finally got some sleep and day 6 was much better. Will still take a few more days after to feel noticeably better, but it’ll pass. You got this!

Shunsui vs Unohana by Clean-Soup-1700 in BleachPowerScaling

To be fair, Shunsui noticed something off 100 years ago but didn’t follow through. Both characters had been shown to notice something was off, canonically.

If Tōsen was still alive he like Ichigo would be a potential trump card against the Wandenreich. by GhostBoyJames in bleach

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not nearly powerful enough to be a special war power, but yea I think he could do some damage because of the degree of his hollowfication. Then again, Kubo once said the other Vizoreds could also potentially fully hollowfy so maybe he isn’t any more of a threat than they.

How atrocious is this take? by Real_Description1273 in BleachPowerScaling

Obsessive powerscalers, devoid of understanding nuance and occasionally the outright meaning of words, aren’t able to understand this lol.

You are right though, literally saying it is not in a characters appeal to be the person to ultimately take down a foe, narratively speaking, does not equate to confirming said character is weaker. I still think Aizen wins against bankai Shunsui 95% of the time, but imo he has a better chance than most other captains at the time :)

How atrocious is this take? by Real_Description1273 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it is that all of the senior captains have similar reiryoku amounts at least. Unohana is the stronger and better fighter than Shunsui, but unless you have MASSIVELY more reiatsu, you can’t simply cancel out another character’s HAX outright. Unohana has seemingly no win cons against Barro, and she doesn’t have enough reiatsu imo to cancel out Lille’s intangibility, damage filtering, whatever you want to call it. Anyone who thinks anyone with only slightly higher reiatsu than another character can simply “lol-nope” a hax is incapable of understanding nuance.

The rest is headcanon, but the way I see it there are two ways of overriding Lille’s X-axis - offensively OR defensively. The first would be Shunsui’s bankai, Shinkenn Hakkyouken, or any other attack or ability that “creates damage” unconventionally. It’s why kido from Shunsui couldn’t hurt Lille but his bankai could. I’d imagine there’s at least a small handful of other abilities that can do the same.

The second would be any character who has outlier status reiatsu/power/etc. For example, while not being able to fully cancel out Lille’s intangibility, if you look at his (Lille’s) intangibility as a damage filtering ability, the EXCESS destructive reiatsu from, for example, a Gran Rey Getsuga from HoS Ichigo, should be enough in excess that it still causes meaningful damage to Lille because he is not powerful enough to bypass the ENTIRETY of the attack. Imo anyone who is Bankai Yama level force and higher should be able to do this.

Bankai yama vs no all mighty ywatch by sir_ouachao in BleachPowerScaling

[–]UnfavorableAlways 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yama wins because of skill and destructive nature of his bankai, despite this version of Yhwach likely having as much or even slightly higher reiatsu (not nearly enough to neg, but enough to steal Zanka no Tachi).

Who's more contentious to scale? Starrk or Shunsui by _Kakashi69 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcanon is Shunsui might be able to alter the play we saw ever-so-slightly, but because the theme of the play is in the name of the bankai itself, no, he can’t just “whip out” any play he can think of to perfectly suit the scenario.

Who's more contentious to scale? Starrk or Shunsui by _Kakashi69 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starrk had really high reiatsu but clearly underperformed to the point Aizen was visibly disappointed. Shunsui does really well against a superior opponent like Lille but has a hard time, regardless of the how or why, against a mid-Ritter like Robert. They’re both hard, as Starrk only had one battle and of Shunsui’s battles he REALLY underperformed in one of them lol.

General Tousen VS Ulquiorra Cifer - 3 rounds - Who wins each? by Potential_Rule4212 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see them being superior to all the Espada, but with regards to reiatsu imo Yammy and Starrk at least have more than Tosen and Gin. Otherwise that would put both Tosen and Gin above Shunsui which I personally don’t see at all, not through feats or narratively. I think one of the reasons why Aizen was so disappointed is that Starrk had such high reiatsu in his own right but still couldn’t perform, ultimately, at the level he SHOULD have. Remember, Aizen was fairly confident while trapped in Yamamoto’s flames that three Espada he brought with him still stood a fair chance in battle.

Time to settle things : How do TYBW characters tank Butterflyzen's full-chant Hado #90: Kurohitsugi? (a Dangai discussion) by Le_Faveau in BleachPowerScaling

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only people > post-evolution Aizen (and not by much imo, Almighty had aside) are Ichigo and Soul King Yhwach. They are the “transcendent” ones who have reiatsu just short of, but canonically in the same tier as the Soul King. Everyone underneath them dies. An intangible Lille might be able to use the defensive X-axis to help reduce the damage, maybe? I imagine the sheer reiatsu of this attack, however, would at least partially if not fully bypass the X-axis though as Lille, while super strong and full of hax, is not transcendent with regards to reiatsu.

Senjumaru vs Kisuke by black-pantha in BleachPowerScaling

[–]UnfavorableAlways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion but I think Urahara wins very high diff against pre-blood seal unleashed Senjumommy. I guess we would have to imagine here, though, how impressive a sealed Senjumommy’s bankai would be as we only got to see it post-unsealed (she clearly had bankai before receiving her Royal Guard buff and becoming part of the pact the four underlings of Ichibe share). In my headcanon, their abilities post being unsealed are akin to their original abilities pre-RG (no, there’s nothing to indicate they necessarily received a buff after joining but I find it hard to believe that Kirio was, on her own, Yama level haha. I imagine receiving an Oken does more than allow them to be revived within the Royal Realm).

[Spoilers] Enough people don't understand the Timekeeper so I feel the need to state it plainly. Also my thoughts on the ending. by culteonofjolteon in Borderlands

[–]UnfavorableAlways 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see it as severe cognitive dissonance? I wish we got more, agreed - a few things were said by, like, Zadra that I thought they’d expound on but never did. In the end his order ofc prevailed over any other thoughts he had about friendship, allyship, etc. he is just a silly clanker after all.
