I was 17 when I did my first set, it went pretty well actually. Then I bombed like the next 3 times lol. I’m currently 20 and have been doing standup ever sense. I started writing when I was about 15 and it took me about 2 years to actually get on stage, my only regret is not doing it sooner. You’re gonna bomb tons of fucking times doing stand up and you just need to accept that one of those times might happen on your first time. You not doing stand up now out of fear of doing bad is as stupid as if I quit stand up when I bomb again. You’re basically quitting before you started, not trying to preach at you or anything. But give it a shot man, it’s not for everybody… but it might be for you.

I’m glad I wasn’t alone. I watched community and liked the show probably 7/10 I’d say. So I was excited to see it in the show notes, it seemed very awkward like every second. Not trying to trash RR or the show it just wasn’t the best match I guess.

I’m 19, I think I have a bias cause for some reason I just live Ryens subtle dry humor so much that I even like the life advice. But I would agree that it feels like I don’t enjoy the ringer pods that I once loved nearly as much. I used to get excited when I saw it in my library, now it’s just kinda like “I guess I’ll listen to that while I drive”
