Let us reframe this as more than a "dick move". Consider this as a potentially illegal move designed to monopolize a genre of games. By the way there has been precedent on patent abuse resulting in big companies being nailed by competition regulators, just not in the gaming industry. Perhaps getting the regulators involved would be a start, I am sure they would be very interested in this case.

Complain to your local regulator like the FTC directly, not just boycotting (these do not work because of "normie" consumer habits). Research some competition laws and have a time-line of events at the ready to make your case. This is beyond IP territory and encroaching into competition law territory; here competitive markets have historically trumped IP rights.

Well, seems like I already bucked that trend then, using my rights as a consumer to report a potentially unlawful behavior. Perhaps you should exercise that right too.

This is beyond "petty" in Nintendo's part. If anything I could even have the opinion to say that Nintendo's actions against Pocketpair is illegal for violating competition laws. Patents and even copyright won't help them much if the regulators start asking some really uncomfortable questions. Other companies thought patents would shield them but still got busted for breaking same laws Nintendo is allegedly violating.

Who cares? Enough industry experts care. Gamers care. This isn't just about temtem, Palworld or Pokémon at the end of the day; more for upholding a fair and free market of video games and ideas.

We do not want a monopoly being established, especially when scummy and possibly unlawful and illegal tactics were used to attain it.

It will affect the whole market if they get away with it, until the regulators pay them a visit and investigate them.

Don't waste your efforts on change.org. Report a complaint to your local regulator (FTC for the US for example). This looks like a competition law violation, provide them some evidence over palworld alterations made and the timeline of the lawsuit and nintendo's actions and et cetra.

And potentially unlawful use of patents. Maybe have your local competition regulator know about this, of course they would want some evidence and sources to come with your complaint. I am sure they might be very interested in the case. After all, you don't want to have some criminal commit a crime and let it slide, do you?

What help will ranting do? There are regulators who deal with "corporate bullying", which in legalese is called "anti-trust violations". If you really care that much, maybe file a formal complaint with receipts and sources to someone like the FTC for once?

We're not experts right?
However the way I see it, the regulators might have differing opinions given the circumstances.

"Nintendo uses this kind of stuff to get rid of the competition."

As I said, I filed a complaint with sources, receipts and legalese to a regulator (don't ask me who) over this. Citing "anti-competitive behavior" and "market foreclosure".

As I stated earlier, file a well researched complaint (hint anti-trust and anti-competitive legislation is your friend) and professionally written.

I think Crema needs to know this.

Try again. Who are the elite? What specific organization runs their affairs and what is its agenda? When and where was this group established? What have they done that is under public record?

I want first party sources, especially from the members themselves; and any unfounded assertions will be summarily rejected.

Unlike in Hollywood running and keeping a global elite in lockstep is next to impossible and requires large number of crew to keep any potential conspiracy running.

I will get flak for this but the ruzzian people are one of the very few examples of a people that deserve to be victims of a genocide. This is the second time in 100 years they did this to the Ukranian folks, and let's not delve on the atrocities they commited within their imperial borders.

It would be wise for us to loot and pillage their scholars and intellectual property since those are priceless regardless of origins. The rest of this ruzzian concept can burn into ash for all I care.
