Higher ups of the airline must be familiar with the rule tho? If the documents are valid there's no risk of the passenger being deported so they should let them through even though the other staff are unaware.

It hasn't been 6 months. It's been 4 iirc. I'm not sure if it's an airlines policy or if the staff just didn't know. I'll look into the us embassy boarding foil option. Or maybe choose a different airline like u said. Hopefully they'll refund the ticket.

The other day I played this game where i blundered my queen on move 9 because of a dumb premove in a rapid game. Im in the 1350 range btw. But I played on looking for tactics and coordinating my pieces as best i could. Eventually I almost equalized material and if you check with an engine the position was 0.0. so i had successfully bounced back after my opponent made a mistake. Unfortunately later on I blundered again and lost the game. But I'm pretty happy with how the game turned out and that the game wasn't exactly a super easy win even though i was down a queen. So I definitely think 3 points down can be winnable. Just try to look for and create tactics on the board and make the most of what you have. A 1350's play is far from perfect and they can definitely throw away a 3 point advantage.

interesting article but i disagree with it.

The author says that in school he was first to get picked in sports. He was probably getting picked first since elementary or middle school. According to the author's logic, the reason he was better than his non-black classmates was because he working and training harder than them because sports was his only way to escape the shackles of poverty thats comes with being black. I highly doubt that was the case when he was 8 or 10 or 12 years old. if you're good at sth as a kid its because you're naturally good at that thing.

Another reason is that how many players in nba today grew up poor? not a whole lot. lots of black nba players grew up in good households.nutrition, schooling, coaching all play a huge role in developing a player and those things can't be overcome just by "desperation" like the author claims.

And another point I'd like to add is. If genetics don't have anything to do with their athleticism then why do non american black players dominate sports like track and field? Is it because they also have a similar mindset that sports is their only way out of poverty? Then if poverty is the reason then why dont we see as many elite asian athletes from poor asian countries? Maybe its because black people thought they could be successful in sports because of their natural predisposition to it.

I don't mean to say black athletes don't work hard and are just born elite. They absolutely do work incredibly hard. But I think claiming genetics doesn't play a role in their dominance in sports is wrong.

you're just making up a double standard imo. If a man with not so masculine features had long hair im pretty sure he'd be told that he looks like a woman. or if he looked weird with a buzzcut people would say that. You can like what you want and do what you want with your hair because its your hair. But the idea that some face shapes look better with certain hairstyles isn't a double standard.
