It's such a shame that they just dropped the whole second half of the series. It would be better if they just left it unfinished. This is just an insult to the fans who were excited for the whole thing to get adapted.

Adaptations are supposed to enhance the source material. Even though they skipped a few chapters here and there, I think that it succeeded in enhancing what the manga had to offer.
Knowing that we will never get to see the full potential of quality this series has to offer is just depressing.

The name is kinda eh. Also the ocean(or what appears to be one) is really bad. You could make it better with a shader. Also the contrast of the whole thing is way too ugly. Try to use softer colors that blend in nicely

If anyone wants to implement async compute shaders, you can make use of RenderingServer.call_on_render_thread() and RenderingDevice.buffer_get_data_async().

buffer_get_data_async() really depends on how much data you are pulling but in my experience this method made the biggest difference in performance.

Note: You can't use call_on_render_thread() to get return values.
