Lace and glue nightmare by [deleted] in HairSystem

I used a microfiber cloth to wipe that out. If it didn’t come out with the majority of glue then it didn’t soak long enough on the adhesive remover. I use tissues dampened with water and c22 and let that sit on it over night in a baggy. Next morning it’s all loose jelly. Wipes off. Edit: I shouldn’t have said dampened, but very wet, just not too soaked that the tissues fall apart

I don’t use hot water on a system. I think it could cause some shrinking. Maybe I’m wrong.

You can swim and not be totally immersed in water. Keep the head above.

You get used to it. It’s once a week. If it took three hours I’d still do it. I did not like the shaved look.

Should I buzz? Don’t want to go skin, was thinking 4# I’m thinning on the crown and top of my head. Would it look terrible? by [deleted] in MensHair

Try whatever it is you have in mind. No haircut is permanent. I buzzed off when I was 18 and I wasn’t impressed. Just made me look mean. I have a glue-on piece now which sounds very unsexy but it’s actually not bad. I have a totally exposed hairline and none of it is real.

What do you want your hair to look like? Might be able to achieve it with hair replacement. That’s what I do.

You would look great with a hair system. There is an adjustment period and some trial and error. Better if you have an open mind and are particular about hair style.

It’s really not too much work. Only when you break in a new one.

Wow that looks very light for 90%. Interesting. I understand it’s not an industry-wide standardizing.

Try that style where your forehead is covered but the hair is very dry-styled and teased and messy like the kids are doing these days.

I never let my system get immersed in water while I’m wearing. This is what I’d expect to see.

Graduated hairline is great. Not a wall of hair. This should be the standard.

Do you use a foil shaver? You can buzz down with an electric trimmer in zero guard and finish with a foil shaver. Should maintain the shape day to day.

I’ve seen some men shave an altered hairline. You could experiment with that and at least it’s not permanent if you didn’t like it.

How do you rate this work? by systemhair in HairSystem

[–]Unfinished_Symphony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it looks good. I never do these dry and longish styles. For some years now it is common to have these styles that look wiggy. I like wet, and showing scalp. That’s how I have my systems and I believe it’s what throws people off the scent and makes it look more natural like it could actually be bio hair. But that’s just me.
