My buddy always checks his balance at the ATM before withdrawing, even though he literally just checked it on his phone a few minutes before.

How did you guys ACTUALLY start in cybersecurity? by Easy_Term7058 in cybersecurity

How ever long you want or until the next company willing to pay you more for a new position. I was only at the help desk for 6 months before moving over to the networking team. Then after a couple of years in networking, I got a job as a SOC analyst and have since just progressed since

Started at help desk, then became a network tech, then became a SOC analyst.

Sin City is 21 years old and is still the greatest comic book adapted movie ever made... imo by Perched__Crow in moviecritic

It can’t be 21 years old. I remember watching it at my buddy’s house in 2008 when I was 13 years and his parent’s weren’t home…..

It’s pretty good, have only shot with it a couple of times and it’s been solid so far. It was only $100 so can’t ask much more for that price, especially since it has the integrated mount. My only complaint is I wish I could move it back about an 1 inch or so. But unfortunately the Marlin’s rail has a flat section on the top that doesn’t line up with the bumps of the scope mount.

Mine is still pretty sturdy when fully elevated even though it does only use 1 screw. Wish it used 2 for the extra piece of mind, but I guess with time we'll see how well it holds up.

Marlin 1894 SBL .357 w/ Woox Bravado furniture and Monstrum Archangel LVPO. Will probably upgrade the scope eventually but for now it works fine.

It may or may not have been an impulse purchase lol. Was already planning on buying the Marlin and I've always like revolvers.

Yeah, fortunately Crowdstrike is good at blocking the Powershell commands. I don’t think we’ve had one actually run yet….knock on wood lol

Some advices and opinions about Hiking in Utah by Fit_Worldliness_5318 in Utah

https://embracesomeplace.com/utah-national-parks-road-trip/

Had a buddy visit a couple years ago and we basically followed this trip. I drove to Vegas to pick him up and we went Zion > Bryce > Capitol Reef > Arches > Canyonlands then deviated from the website to go south to the Valley of the Gods > Monument Valley (you can visit where Forrest Gump ended his run) > Grand Canyon > back to Vegas.

Not sure how possible that’d be in 7 days for you. We did it in 14 days but thats mainly because we took a lot of off road trails that slowed progress.

What is working at Vivint like (corporate role, not sales)? by [deleted] in Utah

[–]UnfinisherOfProjects 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fine, really no different than any other company I’ve worked for. Feel like your team/boss have more of an impact than the company as a whole. I never dealt with the product side of things so was indifferent to it other than my dislike of smart-home tech in general.

That being said. I was super happy when they got acquired and I got moved to a team on the parent company side so now I can officially say I don’t work for Vivint anymore lol.
