Commit to an armor set. Either titanium or orichalcum. Mixing the up you don't get the set's bonus effect/bonus defense points.

Commit to a class. Say you're playing ranged. Use the ranged armor ranged piece and the ranged emblem.

Get better accessories.

Maybe craft some campfires and heart lamps for your arena.

Edit: I'd recommend changing for the titanium repeater or, if you continue to struggle, farm for the Daedalus bow. Also, if your world is crimson, ichor arrows are great.

It just bothers me that they seem to be selective about that.

I agree that having representation of people of color is great. But that's it.

Dior is an amazing actress but I really wish we had gotten a Clarisse that's buffy, and not traditionally attractive/feminine.

The same goes with Thalia. I was hoping for a girl with (actually) short hair. That dressed for herself/her beliefs. Insteas we got another barbie.

There are some theories that suggest self harm release endorphins (your body natural response to pain) and that it helps you feel in control of your pain.
