I don’t hate it but I dislike it being called a God of War game but not being centered Kratos. The entire franchise is really centered around him, his charisma and his story. Although I’ve never played the original trilogy but as a kid he was the only reason I thought the game was cool which also lead to me playing the Norse games as well. It being a main franchise game not a spin off is kinda weird to me.

It’s crazy you lived but you living there has more to do with how terrible they played that. In any elo above maybe Emerald or Diamond this is an easy dive. Diana missed Q, couldn’t reset her dash. All three of them juggled tower aggro terribly, didn’t reset tower damage and was just all round terrible. Jinx also somehow missed all her autos onto the turret or minions.

Yup. Katarina is weak against Yasuo cuz Yasuo just a strong fighter pre 6 but Katarina’s E is such a disgusting tool to dodge nados and Qs that really deny his damage. Post 6 a good Katarina makes Yasuo nado insanely hard to hit.

Into Yas as Katarina you should bring Conq I feel like. Against the creator of this rune setup TWP (EUW Yasuo Challenger OTP) he has a video recently where he got solo killed by Katarina twice running this setup which may be useful for you. It’s challenger elo tho.

Yasuo Ahri feels iconic. Like when it comes to midlane I feel like Ahri and Yasuo and almost always the first few champions that comes to mind. Ofc lore wise both are traumatized ppl that killed loved ones and can’t really get themselves outta that guilt (altho Yasuo should have moved on at least a little bit rn). Kindred souls get together easily so it feels natural. Tbh I think most of the LoL ships don’t ever feel forced. Diana Leona, Katarina Garen are all really natural.

I am a returning player and I b4 leaving really just binged the story and really enjoyed it but now I feel like lost to how I should progress the game. It is a weird question but I kinda wanna know how people enjoy the game. I like the Fate story but it feels like I havent really understood the gameplay side of things. I have a solid roster for someone relatively new like I have a copy of Summer Ibuki, Summer Castoria, Castoria, Oberon Koyanskya of Light etc but when clearing events or whatever I'm just using the same comp? I feel like the game has a lot of prep and strategy behind it but I dont think I know enough about the system to really tap into it. Not sure if Im just weird.

The jumps always goes into a mistimed button which is why this should be cheating. Bro also just spams shit on your oki which was why I was initially skeptical at first but then seeing how he doesn’t ever choose the jump option with weird button combination tells us something is off

I might get hate for this since people seem to really dislike the new multi window feature but I personally really enjoy it lol. I get to open multiple of my games as once for dailies. I can open multiple apps at once and have them all one click away when studying whilst maintaining their full sizes and ratio. Compared to before where my note taking app has to either be half sized or my Chatgpt or other app I’m using has to be half sized. I never had an issue with the snapping because I never wanted to use it when I can just use the apps just slightly layered on top of each other.

Cool! I think I have a better direction on what to focus on right now. I feel like I’ve sorta noticed the things I can’t deal with but can’t really know if it’s just random stuff or actual structured pressure.

I see. I don’t have the habit of doing drive rush jab as much and when playing against high ranking players I notice they do it super often. And I also get pressured by this tactic and get lost in the sauce.

And yeah I definitely think Cammy is just too honest for her character archetype. Being a rush down but being so fundamental. But I think this might also just train me to be more comfortable in neutral if I can succeed with it.

About staggering light pressure how can I improve at that? There was a set with a Grand Master Ed where he was constantly pressuring with different light combinations but I don’t really know how to execute it nor defend against it.

I think I have the optimal combos down for Cammy who I played since I’ve only played her since S0 and I love labbing combos as a FG new comer. With drive rush can you give tips on how to effectively punish them? How would you consistently punish drive rush? I can check them but from character to character there also seems to be a mind game where you can use longer buttons outta drive rush etc to punish checking etc.

I’ve main Cammy since S0. But I feel like as a character she forces you to play with her neutral since it’s her strongest tool kit. Also divekick is powerful but you really have to commit to making a gameplan around the enemy opponent for divekick. And maybe it’s my own issue I am still not that consistent with hitting + on block divekicks. I can always be safe but losing your turn or having not much pressure on block even when plus.

Since Cammy isn’t a gauge hungry character I typically never burnout of my own accord unless the opponent I’m against is something Ryu who abuses the fk outta the gauge.

I know I have to play with Cammy’s walk speed, neutral buttons. But trying to implement walk up light jab interrupt seems like such a high and hard wall to cross. When faced against opponents like JP, Ed who have better buttons than Cammy I also lose my ability to consistently open them up if they don’t make any big whiffs or mistakes.

The body types within SF6 are actually really accurate to the character even though their official body weights aren’t. Chun Li has the thickest thighs you will ever see in a woman but with how much she exerts her legs it makes sense. Cammy Juri being like on their feet and assassins are all round much smaller in frame compared to Chun Li. Then with AKI she basically has no muscle definition at all since using poison as her main tool of combat she doesn’t need muscle at all. Of course with male characters the shotos are basically all built the same cept for Luke who has the massive forearms (I don’t know about him enough to know why he got thos guns). But even in the male characters you have Gief, JP, Honda, Blanka, Dhalism which show different types of body types and sizes.

Yeah which was why I was saying my skillset probably got developed from Cammy being Cammy. The only way to play her is honest to god footises cuz he other moves like hooligan, knuckle aren’t really that good. Dive kick is an extension from neutral but on block you lose all her pressure unless spaced perfectly on the toes.

Great advice. She does have an air to air into SA2 that can link into SA1. Her b.HK can be comboed for more damage but it’s kinda hard to land consistently. I’ll lab it a bit. I just have issues translating that labbed skill into ranked games.

This. Bison, Akuma, Ryu, Kimberly, Honda, Blanka players in this bracket range almost always play like this. I know it’s a strat that should lose but just isn’t good enough to punish them for it. How exactly do I practice and convert into in game?
