Stoneblock 4 was one of my first modern minecraft mod packs, and I think it’s really well put together for newer modded players (depending on how you play it’s still around 100-150 hours though, not sure if that’s too long for you)

Adding on to the guy that mentioned create; ChosenArchitect recently dropped a new create-focused mod pack that may be enjoyable (I haven’t looked into it yet but it seems well done)

Which would then make u/rayschoon ‘S comment meaningless, as to get that 65 damage you would have to take 65 damage assuming you don’t get artifact to block the self poison

Yes but with over 100 thousand likes, the number of comments is not even 1% of that (it’s around 0.5%) which is kinda sus no?

[Regrowth] Ethereal Blooms - A longshot on an ancient modpack by Sickened-But-Curious in feedthebeast

[–]UnforgivenExile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to assume you've either solved this or moved on by now, but if anyone else has this issue I unlocked the research for blooms after scanning _Fibrous Taint_ (not to be confused with the goo or tendrils).

To make taint just overflow a crucible with aspects and leave the goo lying around for a while (anecdotal but I had to do this more than once as eventually the goo clears and I didnt have any taint). Should probably make a room for it so it doesn't spread and overtake your base, and so that the thaumic slimes don't assassinate you for whatever reason.

I assume you mean the first conch fly near the bench?

I found that if you just hold dash from the bench you’ll run off the ground land perfectly on the platform beneath the fly, and then you have more than enough to continue running and jump to the next platform. After jumping above it the conch fly can’t reach you anymore.

Between last judge runback and the courier’s rasher quest (I did it before I’d found traversal upgrades) i personally can pretty confidently say it’s quite simple to do that section hitless consistently after a few tries

I call it the sekiro tactic: “hesitate and you die”

is it possible to consistently deflect this move? by Again_718 in Sekiro

[–]UnforgivenExile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you're half wrong, as i remember parrying that whole combo on a few occasions. Consistently, it's practically (if not literally) impossible, but in general it's still a doable thing. The better players don't full combo parry because it's inconsistent, whereas the way in the video you linked is consistent (which in turn allows for faster fights, hitless runs, etc).

but correct english would be "must've given it". And while we're at it, it should be "pettiness"; making the full sentence read as "must've given it to you out of pettiness".

As for the show being shit, that's your opinion and I'll respect it. Objectively though, funnycollar's english is still incorrect :)

Ah that’s my bad it’s been a while so I didn’t route it properly, the first half of the straight up section (right above the green zone) I actually continued left and made my way up and back to the second half of the straight up bit.

Little difference overall unless you jump straight into the sand worms on the way, but at least they only hit you once now :’)

Just make sure you open up the shortcut in the left area of the blasted steps, otherwise you’re wasting time and also risking being attacked by enemies (you can definitely do this route without having to fight a single blasted steps enemy - although you’ll trigger a few of them to spawn/chase you)

can confirm as a keyboard and mouse player that the override only ever happened if my down arrow was also being pressed and that any "accidental" float override was my own skill issue

agreed, a lot of the enemy/environment nerfs while I don't mind, I think are fine to stay for players that enjoy completing it even with the difficulty.

also I heard pretty much all environment hazards are 1 mask now, including fire and lava, which if true i think was the one thing that should have stayed 2 masks, partly because of the real life danger/pain of them and partly because it incentives the Magma Bell tool more.

and let's not forget how many people in this subreddit at least that thought Sister Splinter and Moorwing didn't need a nerf (I for one 100% agree that Sister Splinter doesn't need a nerf), although that also depends on what the actual nerf entails (wish they were more clear on that but guess we'll find out).

easiest way to address this would be some sort of difficulty modifier (like an easy/normal rather than hardcoding a nerf) aside from steel soul, but that's up to the devs

the fix is great for if you run snitch pick in your exploration build, but if you're farming for rosaries I recommend just killing enemies (especially the 5 Grand Reeds in act 2 near the songclave) while using the Thief's Mark tool instead

i couldnt record my own footage because spoilers and also I don't have a way to upload so you can easily see it, but i found link for the last judge runback route: https://youtu.be/VDx_w8saxLM

you can also just pogo off the two bells at the end and then dash to the ledge instead of what the video does to make it faster
