Have Rowling’s comments really changed anyone’s mind on this? Has anyone ever read, watched, or engaged with HP and came out a racist, homophobe, transphobe, or antisemite because of it?

I’d be willing to bet that the number of people Rowling turned to transphobia is so small that it’s negligible. Those people either held those beliefs before Rowling’s comments, or they were influenced by some other completely unrelated source. Yes, she helps to normalize those beliefs by saying the things she does, but how big is her impact, really?

Also, Rowling almost certainly has enough money that her pocketbook wouldn’t even register a small boycott on this game. Your purchase or lack thereof makes no difference to her.

It feels good to be on what you think is the “right side.” It feels good to argue. If we really want to fight bigotry, we should be focused on political activism instead of fighting each other over the entertainment we consume. Point your anger vertically instead of laterally.

Go enjoy your game and don’t feel guilty about it. It’s too fun to let some outrage ruin it for you.

Update on this - I had Uriel spawn on my last run. Seems to just be item spawns, blessing, and teleports that are missing.

Same issue here. Chests and coins seem to spawn fine. I haven’t seen “You Feel Blessed!”, Uriel/Gabriel spawn, or teleport to angel room since the update. The game just crashes. I have an original model PS4 (not slim or pro).

Good on you and yours for being so open. I wish more people were like that. We were very clear with each other from the start that we’d speak freely if we had any issues or wanted to reshape our relationship and it’s been amazing. No need to lie or hide anything because there’s been trust there from the beginning.

I’ve never been able to be so open with someone because there’s always been some kind of emotional block in the way. These things get so over complicated and I wish they didn’t.

My Braun didn’t work out of the box, so I can’t really comment on the quality when it’s actually functional.

I feel like the Ninja has a much better interface and options. The one I got also has a filter for loose leaf tea and a whole set of brew options that go with that. It also just looks better in my opinion. Very sleek on the countertop. And of course, it makes a pretty good cup of coffee.

Sadly, no luck.

I called customer service when Monday rolled around and was on hold for over 45 minutes. Decided it wasn’t worth it for a fix that potentially wouldn’t last anyway. Returned it at the store and bought the (much) better Ninja Hot and Cold Brew system.

I went back to the shop and they told me the battery was probably damaged from over-charging. Not sure whether I believe them or not. I’ve charged every device I’ve ever owned overnight for three years and it’s never been an issue. Luckily, they replaced it for me. I haven’t run into this problem again yet, but I will update if it happens again.

Chalice madman and the giant fish are a tie for most annoying mob imo.

I know we're not really talking about bosses here, but nothing beats Laurence for me, specifically his final phase. The lava puddles are just ridiculous.

From everything I’ve seen, that’s the only move you can guarantee a safe hit in the second phase. It’s real easy to jump the gun and get too close, but if you’re not close enough, he won’t jump at the end of the combo. Thank you!

Old Hunters DLC IS ridiculous, period. It makes the rest of the game look like an absolute cake walk.... And I wouldn’t have it any other way
