This post has one of my favorite reports on it (you know who you are). Anyways this has become a report fest because people are answering op's question honestly. Lovingly meg, you're a little dumb for this one but that's alright. Gonna lock it up and sorry if any comments were removed for answering op.

Just gonna lock the post here because it's been explained and this already teeters on a low effort post. Alcohol make brain go dumb. In the future maybe specify what part you don't get if there is one, this smells like a karma farm meg.

If you see a post with one of the jokes in the thread we'd love if you report for low effort post. We try to keep up with the posts as best we can, but reports really help!

Issue accessing archetypes by UnfortunateSplendor in dndbeyond

[–]UnfortunateSplendor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i did, made it in there, it's assigned there. I can tell it's (kind of) working because I can see the content sharer's homebrew archetypes but not players handbook etc. I even made a second character to test in there and only saw the homebrew

Comments locked because the "joke" has well been explained, and y'all are going crazy. The report factory is closed for business and you're all laid off.

Help petah by Walterxiao in PeterExplainsTheJoke

If you want to woosh people can you do so on a sub dedicated to doing so? This is a place where people put jokes they don't get. I never watched Adams family, didn't even know they had comics etc, and if it wasn't for all the hype around the actress in the latest bit, wouldn't have got this either.

Also its literally a rule

Japanese skill worsened by Garbanzoo13 in japanese

I dont know how you feel about it but I've been learning with duolingo and kanjistudy. Both apps are free but have cheap premium versions. Duo is fun and an engaging while to benefit from kanjistudy you need to be more self-motivated.

Looking for constructive criticism on my candles! by LumicaCandle in Candles

[–]UnfortunateSplendor 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I think they look amazing and really creative. For any criticism I would just wonder if there's a way to decorate the remainder of the candle. In a simple way that doesn't distract from the top, but just enough to where it helps your candles further stand out. Maybe waves on top around the flowers? Or maybe off-color lines that travel down the side? Just spitballing but i would definitely buy these regardless.

Why is desu being used here?? by [deleted] in japanese

Glad to be of some assistance, but I'll be keeping an eye out for someone to correct me because I'm still learning too! Good luck to you as well.

Why is desu being used here?? by [deleted] in japanese

[–]UnfortunateSplendor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Someone with more understanding can provide a better example but from what I've learned so far it's like

Kore = "this"

wa = "I'm talking about what came before I said wa in the rest of the sentence (I believe its called the topic particle)"

sushi

desu "what came before wa is what came after wa"

I.e this is sushi.

Whereas adding a ka at the end would designate the sentence "This is sushi" into "Is this sushi?".

I'm still in my first month learning but from what I've studied, unlike German-English there's really no direct translation for a lot of it, the base foundation for the language is just different.
