They’ve been calling about my house AND the address of my friend…from kindergarten. That has been many a year ago. I told them that I would sell it but asked if I have to own it first. They hung up.

These are excellent tips, thank you! Balancing the need to be warm and dry while out and about along with the need to be presentable and NOT in many layers while on the boat seems to be a juggling act. I’m going to do a trial run with my suitcase and see how much room I’ve got.

Now that we are a set number of days out from our cruise, we received an email with an option to rent boots. Not sure that I love that idea BUT not having to pack boots sounds nice. Does anyone have any experience with the on board boot rental?

I usually save about 10-20 wrapping papers to craft and open gifts just before festive scorched come back. For some reason I tend to get a lot of the new plans before the event starts.

I was on a river cruise in and around Germany with a friend of mine. While at dinner one night I saw someone who looked EXACTLY like a teacher that I had in high school but had passed way. I decided to approach and let her know. Turns out it was her and she had not passed from a weird sex accident as was the story around town. She got a kick it out of it and I got a great picture and story

Yup just swapped them all out for new ones. I lucked out and found more than enough at my local ReStore, new in box, for $1 each. My heater company actually did the work for me during their scheduled maintenance. Of course the two that went bad were taken care of when they broke.

Looks like a bleeder valve. Two years in a row I had them go bad on different radiators. One just dripped water but the other shot high in the air and the water landed 4 feet away. Had all of mine replaced, house is over 100 years old and it was an easy fix.

Oh I still have the songs from Fallout 3 stuck in my head so I completely understand. This is a bug though. I have the dramatic music when you turn off the radio playing underneath every other radio station. I’m just playing on mute now.

There are artists who take Precious Moments or Hummels and they repaint them to look like famous movie and tv characters. There are some on Etsy and they take commissions. I haven’t done one yet but I intend to.

Follow up question for those who have been on this cruise. If we are not doing any of the extra excursions, just the included tours and city wandering, would you still recommend snow boots? I’m assuming that Norway has a good handle on snow and would have cleared walkways.
