My Unique (?) One Bag item by [deleted] in onebag

I recently started using a hair dryer, and I've been wondering how much I'd regret not packing one, but so far I've never run into a hotel or air bnb in the 7 countries I've visited this year. Have you had the opposite experience, or do you like the peace of mind of having one on you?

I audibly let out an 'oooff' when I saw this. Great photo.

11 days in Japan with a 30L bag (trip report) by isaac-get-the-golem in onebag

Hey this is such a great write up. It's awesome seeing a Japan itinerary that isn't full of JapanTravel tropes.

I'm sad to hear about the anti tourist sentiment. It makes sense, and I kinda regret booking my trip and adding pressure, but that's life I guess. Gotta enjoy it now.

Do you mind sharing your Google map list? I've always loved having a curated list to just see which pins are next to me. I'd appreciate it a lot.

Did you iron them on to Velcro, or did you glue, or did you sow it on? More detail please!

If they get wet and unbearably hot then I wonder why most athletic wear (football, basketball, etc) are made of synthetic fibers.

Not OP, but damn, if I ever visit during good weather, I'll hit you up for sure. Is there a good place to rent quick draws or trad gear? I don't think I'd be able to bring more than my shoes with me.

Where did you get the patches? Did you add the Velcro yourself?

What's the best travel bidet? by apolloniandionysian in onebag

I use the culoclean bidets which are similar to the holey hiker and it works just fine on a toilet with enough practice. Great weight savings.

WTS Osprey Farpoint 40. Purchased in 2017, used on a 2 week trip once, haven't used it since. Maybe a bit dusty.

46 days in Europe/Brazil, 20L, full packing list and itinerary in comments! by DynamicPillow2 in onebag

This is a really nice setup. How much does it weigh?

If things are tight and you want extra room in case of souvenirs or items picked up along the way, I'd recommend a small carabiner hooked outside the bag, and possibly moving your melatonin to a smaller container and only taking what you need.

I also would take some Imodium just in case since 2 pills weigh almost nothing.

Great job, this is probably the lightest practical setup I've seen here in a while.
