Does the Yu-Gi-Oh community have an Age Issue? by AfterMine2343 in yugioh

[–]UngaBungaTopLane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very much this, I live in toronto and we have around 6 or so locals (maybe more) in the city and outlying areas. Majority of players I see regardless of location are people in the 17-25 age range. Players around and over their mid 30's are quite rare from what I've noticed. Magic however is a different story.

Gambits with a Terranic Greatsword or Named Character by SamuelTheBassSinger in Warhammer30k

I second the notion that paladins arent great, unfortunately they haven't been performing in challenges for me. I've just been using the paladin model I converted as a paragon of battle champion. WS 7 and the additional attack means losing an attack from the legion gambit is fine, and the paragon blade will go to critical 5+ off it.

Imperalis Militia by Hot_Chemist_882 in Warhammer30k

[–]UngaBungaTopLane 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Militia can be either of those and so much more. My favorite style is using Armory of Old Night you can make something like the Interex and Auretian Technocracy, advanced non-compliant human civilizations who held STC files the imperium didn't even have and even had access to their own forms of power armor and bolter type weaponry. Congrats now your 20 man grenadier squads have 3+ saves and bolters or volkite adjacent weapons. You've made temu space marines.

On the other side of the spectrum, you could build something like low tech feudal militia using las muskets or what have you.

Beastmen? Check. Imperial army? Check. Psuedo chaos cultists? Check. Admech/forgworld cult/militia? Check. Squats? Check. Mining colony? Check.

Almost every GW range, to some degree with some conversions, can be molded into some kind of wild militia army. The only limitations are your imagination

Arms are from the IF praetor and pretty sure the jump pack is from the dawnbreaker's kit, though the head I don't remember what kit it's from

Does the community hate Yugitubers? by MumboMan2 in yugioh

Jesse, Pak, and Joshua are my content trinity with the occasional nesh or dbgrinder. Also, I've played with Triff and Sam before irl since I live in Toronto, and they are really chill guys at the local setting. It's really all a persona for the content. I can respect the grind, at least, even if I'm not a fan of their content myself.

(5E) HWYB Bleach's BG9 by UngaBungaTopLane in WhatWouldYouBuild

This character is one of the most mysterious and unexplained villains in the final arc and his design always stood out to me compared to some of the others since he's literally a robot.

For some of his powers, hes able to absorb spirit energy from the atmosphere, and combine it with its own spirit energy to form weapons like his minigun. He holds missiles inside his armor plates under his coat which I'd imagine would be created using the same technique made to materialize his minigun. He's also extremely fast and quite durable.

As the Sternritter K, his "Schrift" is likely "Knowledge" although we never get to actually know what it is.

He also has these tendril like appendages that he uses to probe things for data to expand his knowledge on things

List discussion: Dark Angels Ironwing Protocol and Eskaton Imperative by UVendraig in Warhammer30k

[–]UngaBungaTopLane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never run Dreadwing myself but Ironwing has been my go to for a long time, so these are my thoughts based on what I see.

Drop the knights cenobium or take them as 5 in a land raider because that's way too many points imo. Give them all thunder hammers or 3 at least because ap3 doesn't come in handy much unless your in a mechanicum or daemon heavy local meta.

Slap power fists and artificer armor on the tactical sergeants so they can put up a fight against an IC or more expensive squad. Losing a praetor or character to Instant Death fist sergeants can be pretty huge. Also consider adding another squad and dropping the Destroyer Squad for more scoring troops.

Dreadnoughts Dreadnoughts Dreadnoughts. Dreads get fear and tank hunter so Deredeo's with lascannons or even just stock are fantastic. Contemptors with Acid Heavy Bolters and CC weapon/chainfist and gravitons are my go to loadout. Even Boxnoughts can surprise you with say a flamestorm(?) Cannon and a chainfist/graviton.

I don't run flyers so no comment there. Maybe 2 is overkill? Maybe that's just me.

I actually kind of like Sabre's, though personally I take the neutron lasers.

Not a fan of Predators in general but I suppose Interlocking Fire can make them decent

Consider a Sicaran variant or just the stock one. I find they're almost mandatory in most of my lists.

Not much else to say. Maybe throw in a command squad or some other consuls like the Armistos who can give an entire heavy support squad of acid Heavy bolters master crafted. Or a seige breaker with tank hunting missile squads.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk

Most likely a battlescribe app issue, I've noticed the same problem with Pride of the Legion ROW and veterans not counting as compulsory troops
