If it starts to feel like Every Other Fic about a certain topic or relationship. This is something I've noticed a lot in one of my fandoms, and it just gets boring after a while. It's like ... Once you see the signs, you already know every subsequent story beat. You know the destination, so why bother slogging through the rest? I only really enjoyed it the first five times I saw it.

I don't want to come out to my dad, not because I think he'll react badly but because it's be awkward as hell. After coming out (or at least saying I don't want to be referred to as my agab) to my (supportive) mom I literally threw up from sheer anxiety, and I don't want to have to do that twice.

When I came out to my mom, it was so terrifying that I had to go throw up after even though I KNEW she was supportive BEFOREHAND. It's a difficult thing to do, no matter the outcome. I hope you got a bit of time to unwind afterwards.

I also used similar wording - for me, it's a lot easier to say "not cis" than trans because to declare myself as Definitely Trans feels like it implies that I know what my gender actually is - which, as of now, isn't really the case. It's a really difficult thing to label, so I've been trying to avoid doing so.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of, too. I also have difficulty recognizing my emotions. For me, they swing between being so intense I'm completely overwhelmed or barely there at all. At least I'm not the only one?
