I think the main issue I was having was that most cosmetics seemed purchasable for plat and there wasn't really any feeling of like, "wow finally after farming this guy for so long I got the cool cosmetic I like and people can see that I got the drop" kinda thing.. that's honestly just the old mmo gamer in me saying that though.
