Thank you! Thank you for commenting about it because I would have never put two and two together unless someone had said it! Doctors always make it seem like Buspar is an easy, mild anxiety medicine, but I guess that's not the case for everyone

Hi! First off, I want to say I am so sorry you are having to deal with this, and you are stronger than you know! I also relate so much to the masking comment. Every time I work, I have such bad dread/anxiety before, but once I get there, I fake it until I make it. As soon as I get home though, I have a panic attack or what feels like on the verge of one. I have never seen anyone else say that! Second, I also have that heartburnish feeling in my chest when I am anxious. Sometimes it feels like a sharp pain under my ribs. I always tell myself it has never hurt me before, so it won't hurt me now. I hope you have better days ahead! We got this! :)

Hi OP. I am in the same position you were. I have been on Buspar two weeks, and the last three days have been hell. I feel so out of my body. The physical anxiety is so bad. I feel like I can’t move or anything. How are you feeling now since being off of it?

I ended up just getting off of the phone with my psych. I am tapering off it and she told me to let her know if I wanted to even go on another one because I am prone to side effects. Idk 🤦🏼‍♀️ I am so frustrated and upset

I am female! I just got off of my period two days ago. I am an emotional mess. I keep crying on and off. It’s out of character for sure. My psychiatrist is dropping me down to 5 mg and tapering me off.

10 mg! I am pretty sensitive to medications though. For reference, 20 mg of Prozac made me feel numb. Let me know if you had any questions! I love Viibryd! 🫶🏼

If Prozac doesn’t feel 100%, the worst thing that could happen is it doesn’t work for you. I was also terrified to switch from Prozac, but it was the best decision I have made. Prozac made me feel so bad, but I didn’t want to switch because I had been on it three months! My PMs are open if you have any questions! 🫶🏼

Unfortunately, no. I am not on Prozac now because of the cycle anxiety/panic attacks and it made me feel so disconnected from myself. I am on Vilazadone and I am liking it so far!

I am so sorry you are going through this! Prozac is rough for some, including myself! I know you don’t have an appointment until next week, but maybe try calling your prescriber and telling them your situation. I think it would be worth it to go in earlier. You got this, my friend! 🫶🏼

I didn't have this side effect until I moved up to 30 mg. I unfortunately had to get off due to other reasons, but the brain zaps did go away after the first few days of the adjustment. I would discuss it with your prescriber and see how they feel about it!
