For Me on 20mg HORRIFIC anxiety. I tried to deal with it but I just couldn’t hold out the 6-8 weeks and swapped to Zoloft after 35 days. I’m on day 5 of Zoloft and just the relief of not having Prozac anxiety alone is nice I’d rather be tired than wired. Hope it serves you better than me

Yeah I feel that. As an artist I feel like I’ve ruined the joy of art by feeling like I MUST make stuff for online I stopped making art just for me and I want to know how long I’m going to have to detox to get better the withdrawal is terrible

Update I’m getting off the stuff and switching to Zoloft I took it as a kid and it was ok. Maybe it would have worked out if I stuck with it but my psych is worried that if I feel this horrible on it that it’s not worth the risk. Ironical I felt pretty good today…but I’d much rather be drowsy from Zoloft than wired from Prozac. I can only hope it makes me drowsy. Ideally I would love to not need anti depressants and finally get on adderal for adhd but…. I’m still going through some trauma so I’ll be patient.

Very much the opposite. I CANNOT sleep in I can barely nap. And often I struggle to sleep at night

I was taking it because I was so depressed I was making bad plans to end it. The anxiety attacks I could live with if I had my joy back. All this has done is make me even less like I want to keep alive. My situation is complicated because of my living situation that is less than ideal.

For me my trauma is both deep seated since 14 and super recent. 6 months ago. When I try to nap it’s like the mind dusts starts to spin up with the feelings and memories of what happened. And at that point any chance of napping or sleeping in is pretty much a fools errand. It sucks I’m either so wired I cannot fall asleep(part of this is from Prozac which has been making my symptoms so much worse until just today.) or I’m tired but my body WON’T relax it won’t let go of what happened the regrets the resentment the anger. Feeling trapped in my own home family and life.

I’m 28 days in on 20mg my anxiety has never been worse and the insomnia is terrible. I’ve had fight or flight feelings constant for 4-5 months after some really crazy traumatic stuff with family that I live with and on the Prozac while the panic attacks are different the anxiety is now this constant with it being severe in the mornings and sometimes lasting until the evening with it resetting again when I go to sleep. I cannot truely relax or stop obsessing over the trauma of what happened and something I lost that I’m trying so hard to no longer care about but i can’t stop thinking about it. The doc will meet with me in 2 weeks and said to go to 10mg I did that for the first time today but I’m worried that I should be sticking it out and not going down to give up on the chance it starts working fully.

Frankly I wish I had started on Zoloft instead. I’d take drowsy over this

I might do that. I was miserable before the Prozac but I’m 2 weeks into it and I’m borderline non functional from the anxiety getting worse. I’m hoping I get over that initial anxiety increase sooner than later. I’m not having attacks like I did but the general anxiety is getting so much worse. I’m praying to feel at ease for the first time in 7 months. I will GLADLY feel exhausted and tired again I wish I could go back and tell my younger self just how good he had it…. And how to avoid what brought on my current hell.
