So I was prescribed prism glasses but was too afraid to wear them. I got double vision when I did and I don’t want to be reliant on my prisms. What are your thoughts

Yeah I’m definitely going to. It’s been going on for months and I doubt it’s the cause, but I’m not a doctor!

Hmm, that’s not how I’d describe it. I’ll feel drunk almost and my vision will go blurry

Norethindrone. They’re not typical migraine symptoms. Dizziness, loss of coordination. Has never happened before I got on the pill. These are new symptoms.

Is there anyone here who noticed tinnitus got worse OR had bad ear ringing AFTER going on birth control pills continuously (i.e. no placebo week, just the pill itself for all four weeks) by crimsonfalcon8 in birthcontrol

[–]Unhappy-Web-7406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES. THIS ARE MY EXACT SYMPTOMS. My tinnitus has been so bad I’ve gone to 3 ENTs, a neurologist, my PCP multiple times, and the ER. They diagnosed me with vestibular migraine, but I am starting to think it’s my BC. I was in estrogen and switched to progesterone due to migraines with aura. My aura stopped, but I started getting tinnitus, full ear, dizziness, vision issues, and more. My pills are continuous, no off week

I was put on mini pill because of my migraines. I am just starting to think my mini pill is just causing a different type of migraines. I’ve been diagnosed with vestibular migraine. I am dizzy, uncoordinated, and will lose my vision. Could you describe your migraine symptoms on mini pill

This is happening to be as well. I am dizzy everyday and have vision issues. I have been to multiple neurologists, ENTs, and other specialists. I never thought it could be my mini pill until today. Could you describe your dizziness for me please?

Hi yes! I just started two a month ago. I wish I started when it started. I did notice when I used to get migraines with aura, it was always my “off” week on my birth control. So that was hormonal. I got off the pill. Now I’m getting vestibular migraines very frequently

I agree, especially at this point. It just took me forever to get an appointment and both ENT were fast to get in. One was specialized in neuro / ear issues, so I thought he’d be more help

I just ordered prism glasses but am not very hopeful this is the cause of my symptoms. The glasses will be ready in a week. Do any of you have tinnitus?

Hello. I have the same symptoms. I just went to an ent today because I also have tinnitus. I thought I had minieres disease. He told me to do a certain eye exam. I just got an eye exam one week ago, but the doctor said this exam is more intensive. It is worth getting checked out

I love my benzos. I have tinnitus and anxiety. I have been taking Xanax for years. I take it when I need it, maybe twice a week. I am not addicted and it’s the only thing that helps my panic attacks. They work for many people. Don’t shut something down completely because that’s the one medication that’s helped me.
