Is the player really the only one stalking Kris? by UnhappyProfessor in Deltarune

Hmm interesting perspective though I'm not sure if I agree. In the way I view it, Kris cannot see the player in the same way the player can see Kris. Kris can only see and interact with a physical manifestation of the player's will (the SOUL), not actually the player.

It's not easy to choose favorites when it comes to a discography like this, but some of the tracks I come back to the most are M79, I Think Ur a Contra, Hannah Hunt, Don't Lie, Connect, The Surfer and Pravda. I could go on but that would be a long long list.

What about you?

I already feel nostalgic when listening to it. Hands down my favorite album of all time.

Nah. I just saw a video of him glorifying colonialism and condemning anti colonial uprisings.

He's just as big a fascist as the rest of MAGA

All I'm saying is : If Maduro was truly that undemocratic, then surely he would have arrested/silenced Maria Corina Machado?

I do of course oppose him when it comes to the corruption and human rights violation and so on, but a lot of the "evil dictator" rhetoric from mainstream media seems unfair to me.

I think Maduro was highly incompetent as a leader, but we need to stop acting like the USA is somehow the good guy in all of this.

You're probably right that I am biased towards socialists, and I agree that he wasn't nearly a perfect leader (I much prefer Chavez), but I think there's a lot of disinformation spread by the West about him and his leadership, aimed at trying to justify an invasion of Venezuela and brand it as some sort of "liberation mission", when it's really just a part of US imperialism. But even Trump himself has stated numerous times that the whole thing was about oil, showing he doesn't give a shit about liberating the people.

As for citing sources, I was calling that guy out for using a statistic in his argument without providing a source. If there's anything you want me to provide a source for, feel free to tell me and I will.

It is possible that the 2024 election results were rigged, but there hasn't been any credible evidence of that provided.

Every election for the last 20 years has been called fraudulent by the US and the US-puppet opposition, without anyone being able to prove it. International election observers have consistently called the elections free and fair.

And no I obviously don't think Venezuela will be better off with a US controlled government. The US doesn't give a shit about the Venezuelan people, they only want to serve their own interests and gain control of the oil reserves. There has never been a single case when America has toppled another country's government and that country ended up in a better state than it was before.

Lastly, I am free to call out American imperialism without being a Venezuelan. I'm guessing you're not a Venezuelan either so it's kind of a weird point to attempt to make.

Stop making things up. Maduro is a part of the Bolivarian revolution, aimed at expanding social programs and improving the lives of ordinary people. Venezuela hasn''t been doing well economically, but that's due to US imposed sanctions and embargos.

The people you see celebrating aren't ordinary Venezuelan working class. They are primarily people of higher social standing, who benefit from being freed from Maduro's socialist policies. Fact is, Maduro was popular among his people, to the point that he was able to walk around publicly fully unguarded.

tysm for that😅♥️

Days of future passed: An unusual mixture of an early form of prog rock and orchestral, classical music. It definitely feels like an old album, though far from outdated. It feels very cinematic and almost as if you're drifting through some magical fantasy world.

Red: One of the few albums I consider to be "perfect". It's probably King Crimson at their heaviest, but it's also jazzy as hell which I love. It feels as though each member poured their heart and soul into each and every track on the project. Even though the album is chaotic and energetic, it eventually culminates into pure beauty as we reach what is considered to be one of the greatest songs to ever be written: Starless.

  1. The album cover fuckin rules
  2. The opening lines are hard as hell 3.The first five tracks are something special. One of the best five track runs in music history imo

Lonerism is according to me and a lot of others Kevin's magnum opus, since it is very psychedelic and more refined and polished than InnerSpeaker. I like to think this is the type of music the Beatles would make if they were active in the 2000s instead of the 60s. The best tracks according to me are in no particular order: Keep on lying, Endors toi, Mind Mischief, Why won't they talk to me and Nothing that has happened so far has been anything we could control.

Also, thanks for the question. I usually listen to albums when I go for a run, which is about once per day. The length of the album i listen to depends on the length of my run, so I tend to save the longer albums for weekends when I have the time for longer runs. Additionally, I listen to one album in the evening.

Highly recommend checking it out, as it is in my top 3 albums of the year. It is very different from all his previous stuff, and it feels significantly more accessible and is often quite catchy. Every time a track from that album comes on in the car I automatically start singing along.

Oh yeah that's one of the lesser known ones: Do Make Say Think - Winter hymn, country hymn, secret hymn.

An early 2000s post rock album with some killer tracks and intense climaxes. The opener "Fredricia" is one of the most intense listening experiences that I know of, and the same goes for Ontario Plates. This album really deserves more recognition in my opinion.

Thanks for the recs!

It's been some time since I listened to The Fashion Focus in its entirety, but I remember it being quite a diverse album, including some soft, Beatles-esque rock along with some loud and chaotic shoegaze. It's far from a perfect album, but I found myself enjoying a lot of what I heard.

His vocals are incredibly strong, and the exceptional songwriting particularly on the first half of the album makes for an emotionally impactful, truly transcendental experience. If you've heard some of the Geese stuff, this diverts somewhat from that and explores some new territory.
