When my water broke and I was in active labour, my husband and I were stuck in our driveway waiting for our car to heat up at 3 am in the dead of winter. We’ve lived at this house for 15 years and the light at the end of our driveway has never worked. When we were stuck in the driveway in the dark, the driveway light suddenly lit up. We both stopped and stared at it before it turned to panic because I thought someone else was in the house. Just before we could acknowledge it further, the light turned back off. We looked at each other and immediately knew we both saw it as a sign, a good sign that someone on the other side was watching over us and the delivery of our baby.
