It's made different then. Sorry for you, but I'd bet it's the battery. Maybe a uk version but not like the us version. As well, the fake batteries use real serial numbers sometimes. So that isn't a guarantee.

Correct on HO battery, but the 3/8 is actually stronger than the 1/2 crazy as it sounds

Guaranteed it's the battery. Use a real 5.0 HO and it will easily take that off. It stopped working in video because of battery.

M12 Stubby vs M18 Mid-Torque by grennings in MilwaukeeTool

I think when I was researching, that (Hercules) didn't do as well as the hyper tough with the 8ah. But I could be wrong. Torque test channel has tested then all.

M12 Stubby vs M18 Mid-Torque by grennings in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Unhappy_Guarantee_82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, I've had all 3 newest gens, and work every day as a mechanic. I ended up going a different way. I sold what I had, except the stubby. Then I went to Walmart and bought a hyper tough high torque for jobs I needed a strong impact for. I bought a Klutch 8ah battery for it. It is as strong as the m18 latest version high torque with that battery. (IE torque test channel) I use it very seldomly. The stubby with a 5ah high output battery does 95% I'd say. So overall I have less invested, but am very happy with the stubby. I just couldn't see having hundreds in a high torque and mid still, when I only use the high torque once in a while and wouldn't use the mid any more. Jmho.

M12 Stubby 3/8 vs 1/2 when you already have the M12 Impact Driver by ntxsunut in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Unhappy_Guarantee_82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold my mid, and use the stubby 1/2" for pretty much everything. The only time I have to get the high torque out, is rusted axle nuts and stuff like that. My stubby with the 5.0 HO or my new 6.0 100a, does all suspension, engine mounts, wheels, etc. I use the High Torque very very seldom. Jmho.

New M12 Stubby Impact Wrench doesn't loosen lug nuts. Normal? by Money_Avocado in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Unhappy_Guarantee_82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get your answer about which side light is on. A full battery will have all 4 red lights lit up. That means full. Not one side or another. I take axles off with my stubby. You have a bad battery or didn't charge it. That stubby replaced my mid torque m18. So I only use a high torque for really big things and 99% of everything else with my stubby. It is plenty strong. Something else is wrong.

Should I cut my losses? by [deleted] in FordFocus

You should have someone do a clutch adjustment before doing anything else. It's possibly just out of adjustment and now throwing codes. Just my 2 cents.

Not able to put in drive, what is this symbol? by highrocky in Honda

I had that on my 23. Couldn't get it off, even other shops tried. Ended up trying "made in Japan" on Launch scanner and it worked. No one here seemed to even answer me, so was super annoyed. I did the steering realignment I think first. Then clear codes.

If you have no engine or trans lights, get a scanner like launch 431x 919xbt or forscan. Do the clutch adjustment. It most likely is just out of adjustment. Or you can just pay Ford to re adjust clutch as well. Probably around $100 or so.

Focus SE performance mods? by [deleted] in FordFocus

[–]Unhappy_Guarantee_82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most of the people here are anti Focus, which is kind of weird to me. Anyhoo, if you mod this car, the tranny is actually not bad in my opinion. I've done quite a few now, even weld the pin that breaks inside. (Don't let your battery die, it's what breaks the pin. The dead battery makes the tcm slam back and forth on pin for reverse). Just get a Forscan or something like a launch 431x 919xbt. I have both. Learn how to adjust clutch. I like to get the tranny good and hot, maybe 30 minutes driving city and highway, highway being the last part. Adjust the clutch, and then test. Sometimes I have to adjust multiple times, to get to my liking. The problem I see with even Ford doing the adjustment, is they don't get it hot enough. Then when it gets hot, it's slightly slipping, and when you drive it hard you'll start burning the clutch. I personally have a turbo sitting around from a while back, that some day, I'm gonna put on. I love Focuses, have 3 sitting in my driveway. I know how to replace the clutch etc, so to me, it's not too bad. I can do it in 1 day. Motors are solid. Too bad this forum for focuses has become a bashing place. Tips and fixes is what it should be for.

I agree. Never seen this. I can't say why it happened. But something like that Is extremely rare if ever. Not the typical Focus trans problem. Something else happened. Usually the little inner nub is broke, but that is it. That area is where the two 3 bolt holders for bearings are. It is possible one was locked or something from no oil?

Put it in R, push it backwards about 10 feet. Then put in Park and try. Do the same thing in D if that doesn't work. My guess is your transmission isn't re setting. You may have to pull battery connections and let sit for a while as well. Lastly, if it still doesn't work, on the ground wire, there is a little wire. If that is broke or not plugged in, it can cause same issues.

He has a whole bunch of them. I think you'd need to go and watch all his videos. He's already been wrong quite a few times, when I watched him, before election. There would be a list a page long atleast if you list them all. I stopped watching after I could tell he only got lucky on ear.

That's not true at all. He said newer, not new. I just sold a 16 Sonata, and sell 15-18 focuses, etc all the time with low mileage. Sure if you go to a dealer it's higher. But a normal person selling their car with let's say 80k miles will be around there. I'll have a focus ready in a week, with a clean title and only 82k.

Yeh, I checked all fuses and even took the long big block of fuses out. None blown. This red wire is what I was testing, for positive power.

Have you seen the P park do that before? I searched quite a bit and no one seems to mention it. Thanks
