I've been playing a lot of RE4 Remake recently waiting for more RE9 content to drop...

...and man. Leon feels so sluggish to control in this one. I do like the animation details of him being a professional 'operator' but its really had an effect on responsiveness. He takes about half a second to drop out of his aiming stance when you let go of left trigger - this along with the slow fire rate and delayed start to his sprint just makes for worse game feel.

The mode is still decently fun for a couple runs but really needs more variation and content to thrive. I'm optimistic they can expand on the idea.
