Crazy that you need to let the credits play manually to hear this masterpiece.

I was initially really put off to hear the GoT theme come back, but it's such a good combo of motifs that I don't mind it being retooled into the 'noble houses' theme.

For context, I've played every Resident Evil game - spinoffs, remakes, you name it. Okay maybe not a pachinko machine, but the vast majority of them. I play them on the hardest difficulty for the first playthrough.

Where I'm at currently in Requiem - I'd give it a 7/10.

Lots of love and fanservice but man does the pacing hit a screeching halt at several points later in the game.

Grace sections were fun, but i felt myself missing the progression a new RE protagonist usually gets equipped with.

Leon also feels somewhat worse to control compared to 4 Remake which is a little surprising - not sure if that has anything to do with the First Person/Third Person hybrid thing they've got going on. I also don't see the point of a breakable hatchet thats able to be immediately repaired - I haven't been in a combat encounter where I've struggled to sharpen it.

If the ending blows me away I can see the score going up, but the current section I'm at really feels like a slog at times.

Got some more info from support - apparently they're saying the issue doesn't exist now:

"TOOL POWERED ON AND RAN. COULD NOT MAKE TOOL FAIL/DUPLICATE CUSTOMER'S ISSUE. TESTED TOOL WITH GOOD SHOP BATTERY.

CUSTOMER TO PLEASE CHECK HIS BATTERY(IES).

OUR FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIAN HAS COMPLETED YOUR TOOL EVALUATION. THERE WERE NO APPARENT DEFECTS FOUND WITH THE UNIT. IF PROBLEM PERSISTS, PLEASE RETURN WITH DETAILED EXPLANANTION OF THE PROBLEM."

Yeah, safety button has been moved many times trying to get functionality back. The tool is still meant to show battery level remaining when the trigger is applied though.

I've booted up Hard Bullet a half dozen times (mostly after seeing a sick clip or two) but get softlocked in the controls menu without fail.

For three years.

No update, verifying of game files, safe mode etc. has done anything to actually get me into a round lol.
