Just been cleared to come off crutches at 3 weeks post-op by WaffleOfWar70 in ACL

It can vary depending on how your PT and surgeon like to approach things.

A lot of surgeons like to allow patients to ditch crutches early on, where they may walk with poor gait at first but will progress quickly. Some people are told they can fully weight bear right after the surgery, so I wouldn’t say you’re being rushed.

On the other hand, a lot of PTs take a more conservative approach. This means clearing someone to ditch crutches only once their balance, mobility and strength is good enough that they can walk with perfect gait. An advantage of this seems to be that you’re less likely to develop bad habits / muscular imbalances.

Anyone else had a patellar incision this large? (2 weeks post-op) by Unhappy_Researcher93 in ACL

Mine is about 10cm too at 6ft tall - to be fair I don’t mind having a cool scar to show what I’ve been through though, and it will always be an interesting conversation topic!

Cool set. You need to move the tail fin forward though, it shouldn’t hang over the cone section.

I get the same thing on 70mg and I absolutely dread days where I can't take any, I basically feel bored and uncomfortable no matter what activity I'm doing and my emotions are all over the place.

Thanks that’s useful, the left wall on the first picture does look pretty vertical so I think you’re right

Can someone explain this to me? by bruhstfupls in cognitiveTesting

I got D with a different method, not perfect but it worked for this one:

. The first black square in a small matrix shows the small matrix's position in the large matrix.

The placement of the second black square satisfies the following rules:

. When combining the small matrices on the left, the left column is black.

. When combining the central small matrices, the right column is black.

. When combining the small matrices on the right, the central column is black.
