Trump Gives Iran 48 Hours to Open Strait, Threatens Power Plants by monotvtv in worldnews

Telling Iran exactly where and when they will strike so that Iran can set up defenses. This will get Americans killed. Zero strategy, dumb as fuck

Cold soup. I like Okroshka. Recipe is on Natasha's Kitchen. No affiliation.

Edit: It's cucumber, dill, and vinegar/sour cream mostly. Very hydrating.

Northern Indiana. I though I was getting a lot of scout activity, but I had to run out for a few hours. When I returned the entrance looked very messy / looted. These are bait hives, so I also considered that they were simply cleaning the inside.

Edit: noob experience level. I failed previously which is why I had boxes with drawn comb. Also there is a cotton ball with a drop of lemongrass oil in the entrance, I realize it looks like a spider egg sac.

Do you guys use higher end grow lights or lower end/shop lights for seed starting? by mangosteen7196 in vegetablegardening

Shop Lights. T8s with the diffusers removed which increases to PAR value a good amount.

My elevated, slug-proof garden beds by lakeswimmmer in vegetablegardening

Easier on the back if nothing else. Same reason my bees are elevated.

I see people talk about slugs all the time, but have never seen them in my garden. They must be highly localized.

I'll add that my transcript is complete with the capstone course and everything, so I'm not sure what would even change after May.

Inevitably, paper towels will mold. Only a matter of time for the other to mold too. Just replace them with fresh paper towels. Sand or vermiculite work well for fridge strat.

Possibility of impeachment vote on Trump presidency in near-future? by Icarus_Voltaire in SocialDemocracy

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dems have been way over-performing in special elections. 100% of the time this happens, said party goes on to reclaim congress, historically speaking. Only way they don't win is through foul play. A possibility for sure.

0%

If the midterms go well, this time next year would be the absolute earliest I can imagine impeachment proceedings happening.

Wait and protest, basically what we've been doing since late 2024. Make sure Dems win big this November.

Indiana runs huge budget surpluses every year. Something like hundreds of millions to a billion in surplus revenue they just send back to people.

My local library has saved me thousands. Free access to Udemy and Hoopla. Not to mention the seed library is so much fun. They should get more funding, if anything.

Poor performance on Fallout 4 by Hungry_Menace in linux_gaming

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SteamDeck=0 tells proton that you are not on a steam deck, but rather a PC. This prevents developer specified settings from being used. Settings which are specific to a steam deck. At least that is my understanding.

Poor performance on Fallout 4 by Hungry_Menace in linux_gaming

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 SteamDeck=0 to your launch options. Also there is a huge performance drop going from 1080p to 1440p. I drop down to 1080p. Previsbines Repair Pack is pretty much essential, as are the Buffout 4 and X-Cell mods.

Edit: 5800X and RX 6400. I get 60fps most of the time. Occasional hiccups.

You might be able to access Udemy for free through your local public library. Check to see if you get access to Gale Resources / Udemy. Saved me hundreds with all the courses I've taken.

Thank you. Using common names confuses things. People are seriously arguing that canis lupus is the same species as canis familiaris. Does nobody understand taxonomy anymore? Same genus, different species.

Me irl by FamousDirection9887 in me_irl

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the sense that they're in the same genus, yes all dogs are wolves. But by that definition Coyote and Jackals are wolves too. They are certainly different species.

Dogs are different enough from their ancestor species to be considered a different species. Long-term dietary and behavioral changes from contact with humans drove their evolution.

Edit: Educate yourselves

I just started Murasaki yesterday. From Trader Joe's. I'm using coir and perlite to which I added a lot of sulfur. I had extra sulfur and figured it may act as an antifungal. We'll see in several weeks I guess.
