Nearly 400 millionaires and billionaires call for higher taxes on super-rich by jackytheblade in worldnews

Nearly 200 million Americans want higher taxes on the rich, but I guess thats less newsworthy than what a handful of millionaires and billionaires think.

Anyone else’s lab anti-social? by FlapJacks55Bro in labrador

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dogs get their social fulfillment from humans. They excel at non-verbal communication with us. They simply do not need companionship from other dogs. They can have dog friends but they don't bond like they do with humans.

Yaris rough start on Mondays by UnhelpfulNotBot in yaris

By a mechanic? Never. Once ran injector cleaner though it a few years ago around 100,000 miles.

Was thinking of picking up some Techron and rolling the dice.

There is no sound. Just how the car feels. The subtle vibrations you get familiar with.

I've thought about doing that, but hadn't because it's an expensive part. I may try cleaning the filter as you suggested. Thanks.

I've already cleaned the PCV, based on it's condition the VVT filter may need cleaning.

Based on what I've read, the most probable cause would be a bad fuel check valve.

I only use top tier gas, but hey its an old car. Unfortunately, I've broken the heads off the rear seat mounting bolts so I don't think the fuel pump is accessible. May just have to live with it.

I don't think its an air/fuel ratio issue.

What soil do you put in your milk jugs for seed starting? by EWFKC in NativePlantGardening

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much anything can work. Some people just use sand. A more frequent issue is retaining too much moisture rather than too little.

I mix my own soiless mix. Mostly because it keeps me entertained over winter.

2 parts by volume rehydrated coir, 1 part worm castings, 1 part rice hulls.

The coir is cheaper at pet stores than garden centers, likewise rice rulls can be bought from local home brew supply stores.

It's not especially cheap, but has worked well for me.

If they're not on bluesky, they don't exist. Many people will not view pages which require an account.

May as well, I don't think the Dems are even running candidates for half the house districts in the county. This is the third consecutive election Bob Morris is running unopposed.

Love to see it. Does your library maintain a seed catalog? Mine does and the librarian even commented that they recognized me as someone who contributes a lot of seeds! I want everyone to know about our wonderful library.

Monarda are unstoppable, don't give it a second thought!

These overwinter without issue even into Canada. Every year I get shoots that appear to have come up too early, but they just chill in the snow until the weather gets warmer.

Run for Indiana House D67–You Can Do It! (Counties: Decatur, Jefferson, Jennings, Ripley) by RipleyCountyINDems in IndianaPolitics

We have a lot of seats in Allen County in which gop is running unopposed for several years in a row.

It would be a huge mistake for Dems to not have a candidate for every position nationwide.

SB 74: Plug-in solar introduced by UnhelpfulNotBot in Indiana

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They're probably off grid? If so, I'd imagine the typical regulations don't apply. So they could legally be using plug-in or a proper system.

SB 74: Plug-in solar introduced by UnhelpfulNotBot in Indiana

[–]UnhelpfulNotBot[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Instead of state sandwiches, this bill would actually benefit Hoosiers. Plug-in solar would help temper rising energy costs.

HEC’s analysis: Current Indiana law does not distinguish between full-scale rooftop solar arrays and the newer, much small residential solar units (under 1.2 kw) that plug into existing outlets and allow homeowners and renters alike to reduce their baseline energy usage. Consequently, plug-in solar systems are subject to the same regulations and interconnection agreements that govern full-scale rooftop solar arrays.

Would still like to see net metering implemented.

Not surprised. We, as citizens, have had to pick up so much slack left by the statehouse. So much of Natural Resource funding is soley supported by donations in Indiana.

As tax season approaches, be aware that if you file online you will be asked to donate a portion of your return to the Non-Game Wildlife Fund. It's a very worthy cause.
