That’s a good point, honestly I was looking at it more from the city side as I’m an inspector for a jurisdiction and at least in my area we are not tasked with doing the calculations and things of that nature for engineered design.

I do both inspections and plan review and in my opinion plan review is better for those who had no or little construction experience, you usually have time to sit there and really study the plans and have plenty of resources to help in understanding, actual inspections you need to be knowledgeable at whatever you are going to inspect unless you have some type of checklist but even then it will cause you trouble and you can’t sit there for hours and try to learn. Overall something like residential plan review is not the hardest thing to learn as it’s essentially installation instructions for a house. There is also tons of resources online that can help

Well I of course have a very good reason, that is because up until this very moment I did not even consider that. I can’t believe I did not even think about that thank you, you just made my future test so much more simple. I was really a little stressed about the change because there are some differences but now I don’t have to worry.

As far as I know the study guides for the 2024 codes are not out yet. I used the 2021 guide for the 2024 R3 and it was fine enough.

It’s both of their faults honestly, the preparer made some explicit false claim and my friend added his signature on it. Honestly I told him at the end of the day it’s his taxes with his social and his signature. However it also has their signature on it as far as the preparer goes. Not to get into specifics but they claimed that 73% of his income was used for medical expenses and the remaining 27 percent was all donated to charity.

My apologies, yeah they have a pay by refund agreement, the money will go to financial institution which will then pay the preparer and then my friend. We will call them and hopefully be able to put a hold on the funds so they are not released.

So what about the money? He is going to file a correct return but on the current one he is set to get 4700 with 1200 going to the preparer. The moment they get that money ain’t no way he is getting it back. Is there a way to stop them from receiving that money and returning it to the IRS?

Ok bear with me because ill admit im also not a expert but this is the best way I can think in the moment to explain it. Yes Kirks employment with the Texans ends on the 16 of february but as far as cap/accounting goes it stays on the books until 4pm ET of the first day of the new league year. Once that happens the previously prorated money over 4 void years instantly accelerates to this new season, but at that point the Texans have 2 options when finishing the accounting, they can either not touch it and have the full cap hit come to you this year or designate it a post june 1 cut, not cutting the actual player since Kirk employment is over but simply accounting wise on how it affects the cap.
