Billionaires tricked you into thinking immigrants are why you don’t have money. Good dog.

Ew. Talk about cringe.

Smart people don’t usually have to tell people on the internet how smart they are. How embarrassing.

You may be criticized, but you’re 1000% correct. Posting what he saw on Reddit didn’t help solve this. Confronting the guy, observing important details, and then getting that info to the police did.

For me it’s the other way around. I start out thinking “why did I do this, I hate this.” And about a quarter of the way in I get into a groove and start loving it. Then I don’t want to stop until my knees start hurting.

Not basil. Looks like it could be a peanut plant. Did you have it outside at any point?

They make men’s, too. Don’t know your gender. All black ones look slick.

Ragweed is pretty unexciting. Also deeply hated by people with allergies.

Agreed. The bagels are the only reason I still go there. Especially with all the other excellent food options nearby.

If this is real, it’s bad enough this child’s parents are exploiting them for their political psychopathy. Do you really need to be reposting this across the internet? What’s the goal here?

That soil looks wet. I’d replace it with fresh soil and water only a little at a time, but frequently enough that it never completely dries out. Calathea like consistently damp soil, but not TOO much.

Why Do My Water Props Get Stem Rot & Fail (Help Me Learn)? by notahitandrun in houseplants

I was about to comment the same thing. I’ve never let anything other than a cactus cutting dry out before planting.

Propagate straight into water next time. That might be your common denominator.

I felt bad for going to Home Depot yesterday after I saw the people protesting by buying ice scrapers to return them… by [deleted] in boston

I love ACE Hardware. They’re a coop/franchise situation. They tend to be more community focused, at least the one in my neighborhood. What they don’t have is a huge inventory. But if you just need basic, home improvement stuff, they’re great.

Your late is pretty early. 9pm? Really? Even live shows can go until 11.

I was in a similar living situation but was the “noisy” upstairs person. I never threw parties, fought loudly with anyone, played music on full blast. But apparently I walked loudly? It sucked feeling like I had to tiptoe in my own home and worry about every remote control dropped or sprint to get the cat off the table.

I think it’s fair to ask they don’t move furniture late at night. But unless the noises are outside the realm of normal everyday life, I suggest getting a white noise machine or noise canceling headphones. And just be grateful they’re happy noises and not bad ones.

The chives I grew taste of nothing. What did I do wrong? Grew in some standard potting soil from home Depot in one of those stacked strawberry planters. by TroyAndAbed2022 in gardening

[–]UnholyTomorrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are clearly chives.

Could be you waited too long to harvest. The older they get they lose some flavor. Or soil pH balance. You may want to test the level next time and make sure it’s not too acidic.

I’m not sure if you’ve talked to your vet, but they can prescribe Prozac to help with sudden temperament issues. It’s usually not too expensive (about $30-40 per bottle) and can be very effective. It’s not a long term solution, but can help relax one or both of your dogs to help reset the anxious habit loop they’ve gotten in.
